    ACTIVATING THE AUTO BREW DELAY
    1. Ensure the Auto Brew del\by time h\bs been set  
    (see “SETTING THE AUTO BREW DELAY” section for \bssist\bnce). 
    2  Press the AUTO button once. The word “AUTO” will \bppe\br \bnd t\Fhe 
    LED light \bbove the AUTO button will illumin\bte.
    3.  When Auto Brew is \bctiv\bted, be sure to h\bve both coffee 
    grounds \bnd w\bter in your coffeem\bker. When the time of d\by 
    \bnd progr\bmmed Auto Brew time m\btch, your coffeem\bker will 
    \butom\btic\blly brew \b fresh pot of coffee. 
    4.  To de\bctiv\bte Auto Brew, press the AUTO button \bg\bin. The AUTO 
    icon \bnd light will di\Fs\bppe\br will turn of\Ff. 
    Note:   If the unit is unplu\Fgged or power is interrupted, the digit\bl clock\F 
    \bnd Auto Brew settings will need\F to be reprogr\bmmed.
    THE 1-4 CUP SETTING
    Simply push the “1-4\F Cup” button \bnd \bn icon will \bppe\br on the\F LCD 
    displ\by indic\bting the setting h\bs \Fbeen \bctiv\bted. 
    Your coffeem\bker will optimize w\bter temper\bture \bnd speed, to 
    m\bint\bin bold coffee fl\bvor when brewing 1-4 cups of c\Foffee.
    BEFORE BREWING
    •   Cle\bn \bll remov\bble p\brts of your coffeem\bker in w\brm, so\bpy w\bter. 
    Rinse \bnd dry these p\F\brts prior to pl\bcing them b\bck i\Fnto your 
    coffeem\bker.
    •    To remove \bny rem\bining dust or residue from the m\bnuf\bcturing 
    process, run two full brewing cycles using only w\bter, no coffee. 
    • M\bke sure your coffeem\bker is plugged in. T\Fhe w\bter reservoir 
    light will be illumi\Fn\bted \bnd rem\bin on \bs long \bs \Fthe \bppli\bnce 
    is plugged in. 
    •  Remove the integr\bted w\bter reservoir \bnd fill with fresh, cool 
    w\bter. Repl\bce w\bter reservoir into coffeem\bker. Be sure it sn\bps 
    into pl\bce securely. 
    •  Remove the brew b\bsket \bnd pl\bce \bn empty 8-12 cup b\bsket 
    style p\bper filter into it. Do not \bdd coffee grounds. Repl\bce 
    brew b\bsket. Be sure it sn\bps into pl\bce securely. 
    •  Pl\bce brew-through lid on empty c\b\Fr\bfe. Coffee m\by overflow if 
    brew-through lid is not properly \bligned. 
    •  Insert c\br\bfe securely \blong slots of \Fc\br\bfe holder. Ensure c\br\bfe 
    is fully inserted. 
    •  Press the On/Off button to st\brt the brew cycle.
    •  Once the brew cycle is finished, disc\F\brd the w\bter from the 
    c\br\bfe \bs well \bs the p\bper filter from brew b\bsket.
    •  Turn off \bppli\bnce, unplug \bnd \bllow unit to cool for 15 minutes 
    before repe\bting.

    BREWING COFFEE 
    1. Fill w\bter reservoir with desired \bmount of fresh, cool w\bter using 
    w\bter m\brkings on w\bter reservoir window. Do not exceed the 
    m\bximum m\brked level. Repl\bce w\bter reservoir into coffeem\bker. Be 
    sure it sn\bps into pl\bce securely. 
    2.  Remove the brew b\bsket \bnd pl\bce \bn empty 8-12 cup b\bsket style 
    p\bper filter into it. 
    3.  Add ground coffee into the filter (we suggest 1 t\bblespoon per c\Fup).
    4.  Repl\bce brew b\bsket. Be sure it sn\bps into pl\bce securely. 
    5.  Pl\bce brew-through lid on empty c\b\Fr\bfe. Coffee m\by overflow if 
    brew-through lid is not properly \bligned. 
    6.  Insert c\br\bfe securely \blong slots of \Fc\br\bfe holder. M\bke sure c\br\bfe is 
    fully inserted. 
    7.  For immedi\bte brewing press the On/Off button. To use the Auto 
    Brew Del\by St\brt, Brew Strength Selector or 1-4 Cup setti\Fng, follow 
    the instructions in the “PR\FOGRAMMING YOUR COFFEEMA\fER” 
    section of this guid\Fe. 
    8.  While brewing, the Sne\bk-A-Cup™ fe\bture stops coffee flow out of 
    the unit, \bllowing you to pour \b cup of coffee before the brew cycle 
    finishes. Alw\bys return the c\br\bfe on to the c\br\bfe pl\bte within 20 
    seconds to prevent coffee overflow. 
    9.  Your coffeem\bker will turn off whe\Fn the brew cycle is complete.  The 
    therm\bl c\br\bfe will keep brewed coffee hot for \bbout 2 hours. 
    10.  The freshness indic\btor LED will turn o\Fn \bnd rem\bin on for  
    20 minutes. 
    11.  When the coffee grounds \bre cool, c\brefully remove \bnd dispose 
    them \bs well \bs the used filter. 
    12.  Cle\bn your coffeem\bker \bccording to the instruction in the  
    “CARE AND CLEANING\F” section.

    CARE AND CLEANING
    CLEANING:
    Follow the directions below to cle\bn your coffeem\bker \bfter e\bch use. 1.  M\bke sure your coffeem\bker is unplugged \bnd \Fcool.
    2.  Open your coffeem\bker’s filter b\bsket lid \bnd remove the brew b\bsket. 
    3.  If rem\bining, throw \bw\by the used p\bper filter \bnd coffee grounds.
    4.  W\bsh the brew b\bsket \bnd c\br\bfe by h\bnd in w\brm, so\bpy w\bter or on 
    the top r\bck of your dishw\bsher (ensure c\br\bfe is \bpplic\bble below).
    5.  Wipe the outside of th\Fe coffeem\bker, power cord \bnd c\br\bfe pl\bte with \b 
    soft, d\bmp cloth.
    6.  To cle\bn the inside of\F the filter b\bsket lid, open the filter b\bsket lid \bnd 
    wipe \bny surf\bces with \b d\bmp cloth.\F
    Note:   Do not use \bbr\bsive cle\bnsers or scouring p\bds on this \Fproduct. 
    Never immerse the coffeem\bker in w\bter.
    COFFEEMA\fER PART CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
    Housing

    DESCALING WITH VIN\FEGAR:
    To remove miner\bl build up th\bt c\bn \bffect the t\bste \bnd qu\blity of your 
    coffee, desc\bling your coffeem\bker with vineg\br every 3 to 6 months is 
    recommended. To desc\ble, follow the instructions below: 1.  Open the filter b\bsket lid \bnd fill the w\bter reservoir \bpproxim\btely h\blf 
    w\by with white vineg\br. Fill the rem\bining h\blf of the w\F\bter reservoir 
    with cool w\bter.
    2.  Pl\bce \b p\bper filter into the brew b\bsket, close the lid \bnd\F check to 
    ensure the empty c\br\bfe is pl\bced on the c\br\bfe pl\bte.
    3.  Push the POWER button to st\brt the brewing cycle. 
    4.  After \bpproxim\btely h\blf the cle\bning \Fmixture h\bs brewed into the 
    c\br\bfe, press the POWER button \bg\bin to turn OFF the unit. \F
    5.  Let so\bk for \b minimum of 15 \Fminutes \bnd then press POWER \bg\bin to 
    turn the coffeem\bker on. 
    6.  Brew the rem\bining cle\bning mi\Fxture into the c\br\bfe. 
    7.  Following ‘Cle\bning’ ins\Ftructions from \bbove. 
    8.  Run \b full brew cycle using only w\bter. You m\by w\bnt to repe\bt this step 
    more th\bn once. 
    9.  W\bsh the brew b\bsket \bnd c\br\bfe \bs instructed \bbove.

    TROUBLESHOOTING
    PROBLEMPOSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
    Coffeem\bker 
    does not turn on.  Coffeem\bker is 
    not plugged in.  Check to be sure \bppli\bnce is
