ACTIVATING THE AUTO BREW DELAY
1. Ensur\b th\b Auto Br\bw d\blay tim\b has b\b\bn s\bt  
(s\b\b “SETT\fNG THE AUTO BREW DELAY” s\bction for assistanc\b). 
2  Pr\bss th\b AUTO button onc\b. Th\b word “AUTO” will app\bar and \Hth\b 
LED light abov\b th\b AUTO button will illuminat\b.
3.  Wh\bn Auto Br\bw is activat\bd, b\b sur\b to hav\b both coff\b\b 
grounds and wat\br in your coff\b\bmak\br. Wh\bn th\b tim\b of d\Hay 
and programm\bd Auto Br\bw tim\b match, your coff\b\bmak\br will 
automatically br\bw a fr\bsh pot of coff\b\b. 
4.  To d\bactivat\b Auto Br\bw, pr\bss th\b AUTO button again. Th\b AUTO 
icon and light will \Hdisapp\bar will turn\H off. 
Note:   \ff th\b unit is unplu\Hgg\bd or pow\br is int\brrupt\bd, th\b digital clo\Hck 
and Auto Br\bw s\bttings will n\b\bd \Hto b\b r\bprogramm\bd.
THE \b-4 CUP SETTING
Simply push th\b “1-\H4 Cup” button and an icon will app\bar on t\Hh\b LCD 
display indicating th\b s\btting has\H b\b\bn activat\bd. 
Your coff\b\bmak\br will optimiz\b wat\br t\bmp\bratur\b and sp\b\bd, to 
maintain bold coff\b\b flavor wh\bn br\bwing 1-4 cups of coff\b\b.
BEFORE BREWING
•   Cl\ban all r\bmovabl\b parts of your coff\b\bmak\br in warm, soapy wat\br. 
Rins\b and dry th\bs\b p\Harts prior to placing th\bm back\H into your 
coff\b\bmak\br.
•    To r\bmov\b any r\bmaining dust or r\bsidu\b from th\b manufacturing 
proc\bss, run two full br\bwing cycl\bs using only wat\br, no coff\b\b. 
• Mak\b sur\b your coff\b\bmak\br is plugg\bd in. Th\b wat\br r\bs\brvoir 
light will b\b illum\Hinat\bd and r\bmain on as long as \Hth\b applianc\b 
is plugg\bd in. 
•  R\bmov\b th\b int\bgrat\bd wat\br r\bs\brvoir and fill with f\Hr\bsh, cool 
wat\br. R\bplac\b wat\br r\bs\brvoir into coff\b\bmak\br. B\b sur\b it snaps 
into plac\b s\bcur\bly. 
•  R\bmov\b th\b br\bw bask\bt and plac\b an \bmpty 8-12 cup bask\bt 
styl\b pap\br filt\br into it. Do not add c\Hoff\b\b grounds. R\bplac\b 
br\bw bask\bt. B\b sur\b it snaps into plac\b s\bcur\bly. 
•  Plac\b br\bw-through lid on \bmpty c\Haraf\b. Coff\b\b may ov\brflow if 
br\bw-through lid is not prop\brly align\bd. 
•  \fns\brt caraf\b s\bcur\bly along slots of c\Haraf\b hold\br. Ensur\b caraf\b 
is fully ins\brt\bd. 
•  Pr\bss th\b On/Off button to start th\b br\bw cycl\b.
•  Onc\b th\b br\bw cycl\b is finish\bd, disca\Hrd th\b wat\br from th\b 
caraf\b as w\bll as th\b pap\br filt\H\br from br\bw bask\bt.
•  Turn off applianc\b, unplug and allow unit to cool for 15 minut\bs 
b\bfor\b r\bp\bating.

BREWING COFFEE 
1. Fill wat\br r\bs\brvoir with d\bsir\bd amount of fr\bsh, cool wat\br using 
wat\br markings on wat\br r\bs\brvoir window. Do not \bxc\b\bd th\b 
maximum mark\bd l\bv\bl. R\bplac\b wat\br r\bs\brvoir into coff\b\bmak\br. B\b 
sur\b it snaps into plac\b s\bcur\bly. 
2.  R\bmov\b th\b br\bw bask\bt and plac\b an \bmpty 8-12 cup bask\bt styl\b 
pap\br filt\br into it. 
3.  Add ground coff\b\b into th\b filt\br (w\b sugg\bst 1 tabl\bspoon p\br c\Hup).
4.  R\bplac\b br\bw bask\bt. B\b sur\b it snaps into plac\b s\bcur\bly. 
5.  Plac\b br\bw-through lid on \bmpty c\Haraf\b. Coff\b\b may ov\brflow if 
br\bw-through lid is not prop\brly align\bd. 
6.  \fns\brt caraf\b s\bcur\bly along slots of c\Haraf\b hold\br. Mak\b sur\b caraf\b is 
fully ins\brt\bd. 
7.  For imm\bdiat\b br\bwing pr\bss th\b On/Off button. To us\b th\b Auto 
Br\bw D\blay Start, Br\bw Str\bngth S\bl\bctor or 1-4 Cup s\btti\Hng, follow 
th\b instructions in th\b “P\HROGRAMM\fNG YOUR COFFEEMAKER” 
s\bction of this guid\H\b. 
8.  Whil\b br\bwing, th\b Sn\bak-A-Cup™ f\batur\b stops coff\b\b flow out of 
th\b unit, allowing you to pour a cup of coff\b\b b\bfor\b th\b br\bw cycl\b 
finish\bs. Always r\bturn th\b caraf\b on to th\b caraf\b plat\b within 20 
s\bconds to pr\bv\bnt coff\b\b ov\brflow. 
9.  Aft\br br\bwing is compl\bt\b, br\bw\bd coff\b\b will b\b k\bpt warm on 
th\b “K\b\bp Hot” caraf\b plat\b for up to 2 hours b\bfor\b shutting off 
automatically. 
10.  Wh\bn th\b coff\b\b grounds ar\b cool, car\bfully r\bmov\b and dispos\b 
th\bm as w\bll as th\b us\bd filt\br. 
11.  Cl\ban your coff\b\bmak\br according to th\b instruction in th\b

CLEAN\fNG:
Follow th\b dir\bctions b\blow to cl\ban your coff\b\bmak\br aft\br \bach us\b. 1.  Mak\b sur\b your coff\b\bmak\br is unplugg\bd and \Hcool.
2.  Op\bn your coff\b\bmak\br’s filt\br bask\bt lid and r\bmov\b th\b br\bw bask\bt. 
3.  \ff r\bmaining, throw away th\b us\bd pap\br filt\H\br and coff\b\b grounds.
4.  Wash th\b br\bw bask\bt and caraf\b by hand in warm, soapy wat\br or on 
th\b top rack of your dishwash\br (\bnsur\b caraf\b is applicabl\b b\blo\Hw).
5.  Wip\b th\b outsid\b of t\Hh\b coff\b\bmak\br, pow\br cord and caraf\b plat\b with a 
soft, damp cloth.
6.  To cl\ban th\b insid\b o\Hf th\b filt\br bask\bt lid, op\bn th\b filt\H\br bask\bt lid and 
wip\b any surfac\bs with a damp clot\Hh.
Note:   Do not us\b abrasiv\b cl\bans\brs or scouring pads on this\H product.

r\bcomm\bnd\bd. To d\bscal\b, follow th\b instructions b\blow: 1.  Op\bn th\b filt\br bask\bt lid and fill th\b \Hwat\br r\bs\brvoir approximat\bly half 
way with whit\b vin\bgar. Fill th\b r\bmaining half of th\H\b wat\br r\bs\brvoir 
with cool wat\br.
2.  Plac\b a pap\br filt\br into th\b br\bw bask\bt, clos\b th\b lid an\Hd ch\bck to 
\bnsur\b th\b \bmpty caraf\b is plac\bd on th\b caraf\b plat\b.
3.  Push th\b POWER button to start th\b br\bwing cycl\b. 
4.  Aft\br approximat\bly half th\b cl\banin\Hg mixtur\b has br\bw\bd into th\b 
caraf\b, pr\bss th\b POWER button again to turn OFF th\b unit\H. 
5.  L\bt soak for a minimum of 15\H minut\bs and th\bn pr\bss POWER again to 
turn th\b coff\b\bmak\br on. 
6.  Br\bw th\b r\bmaining cl\baning m\Hixtur\b into th\b caraf\b. 
7.  Following ‘Cl\baning’ ins\Htructions from abov\b. 
8.  Run a full br\bw cycl\b using only wat\br. You may want to r\bp\bat this st\bp 
mor\b than onc\b. 
9.  Wash th\b br\bw bask\bt and caraf\b as instruct\bd abov\b.
