    2. Remove form\fl\b t\bnk from back of machine.
    2\b. fill the form\fl\b t\bnk b\f first unscrewing the
cap and insert. Alwa\fs use genuine BISSELL
formulas to maximize cleaning and for the
safet\f of \four machine. Fill water up to " WATER"
line and then fill up to " Fo Rm ULA " line with
BISSELL 2X concentrated formula. Replace the
cap and insert. Place formula tank back into the
slot in the back of the machine for a snug fit.
    3. Set c\fstom cle\bn di\bl. Simpl\f choose one of
the 4 settings (heav\f traffic, normal clean,
light clean, or water rinse) and the ProHeat
2X will adjust the right amount of cleaning
formula to mix with the heated water to fit
    \four cleaning need.
    4. Set Re\bdy tools di\bl to the floor cleaning setting.
    5. pl\fg into \b proper o\ftlet and turn the power
and heater switches to the oN ( I ) position.
Allow 1 minute for the built-in heater to warm-
up before cleaning. The ProHeat 2X will be full\f
warmed and will provide optimal performance
after one minute of continuous heated cleaning.
    6. cle\bning strokes. While pressing the spra\f
trigger, make one slow forward wet pass and
another one back. Let the built-in heater, formula,
and DirtLifter PowerBrushes do the work for \fou.
c \b\ftion: Do not overwet. Take care not to run
over loose objects or edges of area rugs. Stalling
brush ma\f result in premature belt failure.
    Note: yo\fr m\bchine is eq\fipped with \b

    foreign object, \bnd then pl\fg the m\bchine
    b\bck in to reset the circ\fit bre\bker.
Release the spra\f trigger and make one
slow forward and backward pass over
the same area to remove an\f residual
dirt\f water and aid in dr\fing. Repeat
cleaning passes until solution being pulled
up appears clean. Continue passes without
pressing the spra\f trigger until \fou can’t see
an\f more water being pulled up.

settings on the Custom Clean dial to a water
rinse setting, or it can be done after the carpeted
area has been cleaned. Simpl\f choose the water
rinse setting on the Custom Clean dial, and follow
the same path as \fou did for cleaning, taking
care to do a forward (wet) stroke b\f depressing
the spra\f trigger, a backward (wet) stroke, and a
