    cleaner is a Phillips head        screwdriver.

     Slide upper handle onto lower handle.

    .  Screw 3 screws into the marked holes.

     Place upper hose rack onto back of upper 
    handle, and secure with tapered screw.
    4. 
     Place lower hose rack onto back of upper 
    handle b\f pushing in and sliding down until 
    it snaps into place.
    5. 
     Snap tools into the tool cadd\f as shown in 
    figure 5.

     Wrap power cord and flex hose as shown in 
    figure 5.

     Keep flex hose snugl\f in place b\f using 
    the hose secure latch.

    Before you c\bean
    1.    Plan activities to give \four carpet time to dr\f.
    2.  Move f\frnit\fre to another area if cleaning 
    an entire room (optional).
    3.  V\bc\f\fm \bre\b with a dr\f vacuum cleaner 
    thoroughl\f before deep cleaning.
    4.  Plan \four cleaning route to leave an exit path. It 
    is best to begin cleaning in the corner farthest 
    from \four exit.

    5.  pretre\bting (optional)
    Pretreating is recommended to improve cleaning 
    effectiveness for heavil\f soiled carpet in high 
    traffic areas such as entr\fwa\fs and hallwa\fs.

    a.  Spra\f the BISSELL Tough Stain 
    Precleaner formula onto heav\f traffic 
    areas, soiled areas, or stains.
    b.  Allow to penetrate for at least 3 minutes.
    c.  Clean as normal, using the BISSELL 
    ProHeat 2X machine on the high traffic 
    setting, following the instructions below.
    option  b: cle\bnShot™
    a.  Set Custom Clean for the desired setting.
    b.  Press the CleanShot button and aim the 
    focused stream onto the stain. Allow the 
    formula to soak in for 30 seconds. 
    c.  Run the machine over the stain to extract. 
    Repeat as needed until the stain is gone.
    D.  Rinse if desired.
    Carpet c\beaning
    1.  fill the 2-in-1 w\bter t\bnk . Remove the tank 
    from the base of the machine b\f lifting up the 
    tank carr\f handle. Carr\f like a bucket to the sink.
    1\b.  Unlatch the top of the tank from the bottom 
    b\f lifting up on the tank latch which is located 
    on the back of the tank.
    1b.
       Remove the top of the tank b\f lifting up on 
    the handle. 
    Note how the lip on the top t\bnk sep\br\btes 
    from the groove in the bottom t\bnk.  this 
    pl\bcement is import\bnt when p\ftting the 
    t\bnk b\bck together
    1c.   Fill the heav\f dut\f bladder with hand hot 
    tap water.*Do not boil or microw\bve w\bter 
    \bs it c\bn destroy the bl\bdder. 
    1d.  Leaving the filled bottom of the tank on a 
    flat surface, onl\f maneuver the top of the 
    tank. To attach the top part of the tank to the 
    bottom, carefull\f hook the lip on the top tank 
    into the groove on the bottom tank.
    1e.  Fasten tanks together b\f securing the latch 
    in the back.
    Note: Remember to sec\fre the t\bnk l\btch in 
    the b\bck \bnd test to m\bke s\fre it is sec\fre 
    before picking \fp the t\bnk.
