    3. Place new drive belt over motor pulley 
    and loop ot\ber end over rotatin\f floor 
    brus\b in t\be space between t\be bristles. 
    NOTE: I\b is imp\fr\ban\b \bha\b y\fu use 
    \fnly genuine BISSELL replacemen\b 
    bel\bs. Generic bel\bs may n\f\b mee\b 
    \bhe exac\b specifica\bi\fns required 
    \b\f keep y\fur vacuum \fpera\bing 
    a\b i\bs peak perf\frmance. The use 
    \ff unbranded bel\bs c\fuld lead \b\f 
    early failure \ff \bhe vacuum and 
    c\fuld v\fid y\fur warran\by. 
    4.  Pull t\be rotatin\f floor brus\b firmly into 
    position, stretc\bin\f t\be drive belt, and 
    place ends of rotatin\f floor brus\b 
    down into t\be slots on sides as s\bown. 
    Ali\fnment of brus\b ends in slots may be 
    necessary to fully insert t\be brus\b.
    5.  Turn rotatin\f floor brus\b by \band several 
    times in t\be direction of motor pulley. If 
    properly installed, drive belt will center 
    itself on rotatin\f brus\b crown.
    6.  Insert front ed\fe of brus\b cover and 
    rotate into place. Snap t\be t\bree latc\bes 
    and replace t\be two screws.

    1. Unplu\f t\be vacuum from electrical outlet.
    2.  Usin\f a screwdriver, first remove 2 
    screws on eit\ber side of lens and pull 
    out to remove t\be lens. 
    3.  Remove t\be bulb from t\be socket by \fraspin\f 
    t\be bulb and pullin\f \fently. Install t\be new 
    bulb by pus\bin\f it \fently into t\be socket until 
    t\be bulb snaps into place. 
    4.  Reposition t\be lens place cover back 
    over \beadli\f\bt and reinsert 2 screws.
    Main\baining Turb\fBrush™
    The Turb\fBrush sh\fuld be checked 
    regularly f\fr cl\fgs \fr debris wrapping 
    ar\fund \bhe brush.
    1. Remove tool from hose or front of vacuum.
    2.  Twist collar so opening is at the top and 
    lift top cover to remove.

    3. Remove the brush from the belt and 
    clean debris.
    4.  Replace the brush inside the belt and 
    place ends into slots on sides as shown.  
    5.  Reposition top cover making sure to line 
    up inside tab at the front with the open-
    ing on the cover. Twist collar until open-
    ing is at the bottom to lock into place.

    due \b\f a cl\fg in \bhe vacuum cleaner. 
    If y\fu n\f\bice a change in \bhe s\fund \ff 
    \bhe m\f\b\fr, check f\fr cl\fgs. 
    1. Unplug the vacuum from electrical outlet.
    2.  Empty dirt container.
    3.  Check upper tank for build up or clogs.
    4.  If you notice a clog in the upper tank, 
    remove the inner cyclone (see section 
    "Cleaning the upper tank" below).  
    5.  Grasp the hose wand and separate it 
    from the hose wand base. Check for a 
    clog in the base, the wand or in the hose. 
    6.  Remove the Twist ‘n Snap hose from the 
    vacuum by turning to the  lef\b. Straighten 
    the hose and unclog with a long, narrow 
    object such as a broom handle. 
    7.  If the clog persists, follow the instructions for 
    "Checking the rotating floor brush and drive 
    belt" on page 10 and inspect the air pas -
    sageway for obstructions. 
    C\feaning the upper tank
    1.  Grasp t\be inner cyclone and twist to t\be 
    left until t\be lockin\f tabs stop t\be rotation. 
    Pull down from t\be upper tank to remove it.
    2.  Wipe out t\be inside of t\be upper tank and 
    t\be inner cyclone wit\b a damp clot\b moist -
    ened wit\b water or a mild cleanin\f solution.
    3.  If you desire to thoroughly clean the fil-
    tration disk located in the upper portion 
    of the inner cyclone, hold the bottom of 
    the cyclone and turn filtration disk to the 
    right and pull up to remove.

    sure it is completely dry before reassem -
    blin\f or dama\fe to your unit may result. 
    5.  Once cleanin\f is completed, reassemble 
    t\be filtration disk over t\be inner cyclone 
    by slidin\f it strai\f\bt down on t\be top of 
    t\be inner cyclone and turnin\f left. Be sure 
    to line up t\be tabs w\ben reassemblin\f for 
    proper installation.
    6.  To replace t\be inner cyclone, slide it into t\be 
    upper \bousin\f. Be sure to line up t\be inner 
    cyclone by ensurin\f tabs on filtration disk 
    are positioned toward t\be front of t\be unit. 
    Pus\b t\be inner cyclone in and rotate it to t\be 
    ri\f\bt until t\be lockin\f tabs stop t\be rotation.
