Operation 22 Operation Starting up the projector 1. Plug the power cord into the projector and into a wall socket. Turn on the wall socket switch (where fitted). Check that the POWER indicator light on the projector lights orange after power has been applied. 2. Remove the lens cap. Operation 23 Using the menus The projector is equipped with On-Screen Display (OSD) menus for making various adjustments and settings. Below is the overview of the OSD menu. Operation 24 Utilizing the password function For security purposes and to help prevent unauthorized use, the projector includes an option for setting up password security. Operation 25 Entering the password recall procedure 1. Press and hold AUTO on the projector or remote control for 3 seconds. The projector will display a coded number on the screen. 2. Write down the number and turn off your projector. 3. Seek help from the local BenQ service center to decode the number.
