2. General 2.2 Unpacking the projector What has to be done ? Upon delivery, the projector is packed in a carton box upon a wooden pallet and secured with banding and fastening clips. Fur- thermore, to provide protection during transportation, the projector is surrounded with foam. Once the projector has arrived at the installation site, it needs to be removed from the carton box and wooden pallet in a safe manner without damaging the projector. 2. General Save the original shipping carton and packing material, they will be necessary if you ever have to ship your projector. For maximum protection, repack your projector as it was originally packed at the factory. A rubber foam inside a plastic bag is placed into the lensopening of the projector. It’s recommended to reuse this foam and plastic back each time you transport the projector. This to prevent intrusion of dust and foreign particles. 2. General 2.3 Initial inspection General Before shipment, the projector was inspected and found to be free of mechanical and electrical defects. As soon as the projector is unpacked, inspect for any damage that may have occurred in transit. Save all packing material until the inspection is completed. If damage is found,file claim with carrier immediately. The Barco Sales and Service office should be notified as soon as possible. 2. General 2.4 HDXflight case Introduction of the HDXflight case The HDXflight case is designed to transport the HDX projector in a safe and secure manner. The four caster wheels, provided with breaks, and the four handles make the HDXflight case easy to handle.
