    VIDEO
    •   Video quality: Set the quality for your video .
    •   Time lapse: Set the time interval between each frame when recording videos using the rear-facing camera .
    •   Focus lock when recording: Select whether to lock the focus point on the center of the screen when recording videos using 
    the rear-facing camera .
    •     Geo-tagging: Select whether to store the GPS location in your captured videos .
    •   Storage location: Tap Save location to change the storage location for captured videos .
    •   Restore defaults: Restore default camcorder settings .
    Note: Some video options will change in different camera modes .
    Gallery 
    Opening the Gallery
    From the home screen, tap Gallery to view albums of your pictures and videos . You can choose to view by album, location,  or date .
    Working With Albums
    When you open the Gallery, all pictures and videos on your tablet are displayed in a number of albums .  
    Viewing Album Contents
    Tap an album to view the pictures and videos it contains .
    Sharing Albums, Pictures, or Videos
     1 .    Press and hold an album in the Albums view to select it, or open an album and press and hold a picture or a video to select it  .
     2 .    Tap more items that you want to share .
     3  .   Tap  and select how you want to share the items .
    Viewing Details of an Item
     1 .    Tap an item in an album to view it, then tap the screen .
     2 .   Tap Details .
    Deleting Albums, Pictures, or Videos
      1 .    Press and hold an album in the Albums view to select it, or open an album and press and hold a picture or a video to select it  .
     2 .    Tap more items that you want to delete .
     3  .   Tap OK .

    Working With Pictures
    Tap a picture in an album to view the picture in full screen . 
    NumberFunction
    1Tap to return to the album, where all its contents are displayed in a grid .
    2Swipe horizontally to see more; double-tap a picture or pinch two fingers together or spread them apart to zoom in or out .
    3Delete the picture .
    4Edit the picture .
    5Share the picture .
    6Add the picture to the Favorite album .
    7Rotate, rename, print the picture, check file details, set the picture as wallpaper, or view in slideshow mode .
    Notes: 
    •    Pinch a picture or video to make it smaller  . You’ll then see a filmstrip-style view of all your pictures and videos in a row  . Swipe left or right to scan through them all .
    •    You can delete a picture or video by swiping it up in the filmstrip view  . If you accidentally delete one, tap UNDO to retrieve it  .
    •    Not all options may be available for certain albums or pictures .
    Retouching Your Pictures
    You can edit any photos you took and some other pictures in Gallery  . The changed picture is saved in the same album as the original one, while the original is never affected .
     1 .    While viewing a picture in full screen, tap the screen and tap  .
     2 .    Tap the icons along the bottom of the screen to edit the picture .
    Apply filters and old photo effects .
    Crop, straighten, rotate, or flip (mirror) the picture .
    Adjust exposure, saturation, hue, sharpness, and other color options .

    Add text to or draw on the picture, and add a mosaic effect .
    Add a frame or sticker decoration to the picture .
     3  .    To cancel or accept the changes you’ve made to the picture, tap  or  at the top of the screen .
     4 .   Tap  to save the new picture .
    Note: Tap  in the Photo Editor screen to see the edits you have made and undo or redo them .
    Making a GIF or a collage
    You can put together a few pictures in the same album to make an animated GIF or a collage of pictures .
     1 .     Open the Gallery app and tap Gif maker or Collage maker .
     2 .     Tap an album .
     3  .     Tap the pictures you want  .
    •  
    To make a GIF, tap 2 to 50 pictures in the order (or reverse of the order) that you want them to appear in the GIF  .
    •  To make a collage, tap 2 to 9 pictures .
    The pictures you tapped are displayed along the bottom of the screen . Tap  to remove the pictures you do not want .
     4 .  Tap NEXT . The GIF or collage is displayed .
     5  .   Tap the options along the bottom to adjust the final picture .
    •  For GIF, you can adjust the speed, order, size, and more .
    •  For collage, tap TEMPLATE, FREE, or COLLAGE and then select a border, shading, and style .
     
    6 .     When you are satisfied with the final picture, tap  to save the GIF or tap  to save the collage .
    Playing Videos
     1 .    Tap an album in Gallery and then tap the thumbnail of a video  .
     2 .   Tap  at the center to start playing .
      3  .    Tap the video to view the playback controls .  
    In the Video Player, you can tap  to play the video in a small floating window and continue with other tasks on the tablet  .

    Play Music 
    The Play Music application works with Google Music, Google’s online music store and streaming service . You can stream via mobile data or Wi-Fi and listen to songs that you’ve added to your online Google Music library . You can also play audio files you’ve copied directly to your tablet from a computer  .
    Note: The availability of Google Music is dependent on your region . If it is not available, or you don’t have a mobile data or Wi-Fi connection, you can only play music stored on your tablet  .
    Playing Your Music
    From the home screen, tap Play Music . If you are prompted, select an account to access its online music library .
    The app searches your online  library and your tablet for music  and playlists before displaying  your combined music library,  organized by PLAYLISTS,  
    GENRES, ARTISTS, ALBUMS,  and SONGS . You can tap  My Library to view all the  music and playlists . To change  views of your library, swipe left  or right .
    Tap a song to play it  . When the  song is playing, tap the summary  information at the bottom to  
    display the playback screen .  
    NumberFunction
    1Song, album, and artist information .
    2Album artwork (if available) . Slide left to skip to the next song in the playlist, or right for the previous song .
    3Drag the slider to jump to any part of the song .  
    4Toggle repeat mode: repeating current song, repeating all songs, or sequential . 
    5Turn on or off shuffle .
    6Playback controls . Skip songs or pause and resume playback . 
    7Give the song a thumbs-up  .
    8Give the song a thumbs-down .
    9Tap to see the current playlist (queue) .
    10Get more options .
    Notes:
    •    You can still control the music when you are not in the playback screen .
    •    In the music library, tap the summary information at the bottom of the screen to restore the playback screen .
    •    In other apps, swipe down the Notification Panel . Tap the song 
    title to restore the playback screen, or use the options to pause, resume, or skip a song .

    •    When the screen is locked, the song information, album cover as well as playback controls are displayed on the screen . You can pause, resume, or skip a song .
    Managing Playlists
    Create playlists to organize your music files so that you can play the songs you like in the order you prefer  .
    Creating a Playlist or Adding a Song to a Playlist
    Tap Add to playlist next to a song and tap a playlist to add it to a playlist, or tap NEW PLAYLIST to create a new playlist .
    Removing a Song From a Playlist
     1 . Tap My Library in the Play Music app  .
     2 . Tap PLAYLISTS and open a playlist  .
     3 .  Tap  next to a song in the playlist  .
     4 . Tap Remove from playlist .
    Deleting a Playlist
     1 . Tap My Library in the Play Music app  .
     2 . Tap PLAYLISTS .
     3 .  Tap  next to the playlist you want to delete .
     4 .  Tap DeleteOK .
    Note: Certain automatically created playlists, such as Last added, cannot be deleted .
    Video Player 
    Use the Video Player to manage your video library and to watch videos .
    Opening the Video Library
    From the home screen, tap  Video Player to view your video  library  . Swipe up or down to find  the video you want  . You can also  tap  to search for video files, or  tap View by or Sort by to change  the display mode or sort the list  .
    Playing and Controlling  
    Videos
    Tap a video in the video library to  play it . Tap the screen to show the  playback controls . You can control  the video and audio or carry out  other operations .

    Notes: 
    •     Slide horizontally on the video to rewind or fast forward .

    Managing Video Files
    Deleting Videos
     1 .    In the video library, tap Multi-Select . 
     2 .    Tap the videos you want to delete .
     3  .   Tap OK .
    Sharing Videos
     1 .    Press and hold a video in the video library  . 
     2 .    Tap the videos you want to share .
     3  .   Tap  and select how you want to share them .
    Renaming a Video
     1 .   Tap  next to the video you want to rename .
     2 .   Tap Rename .
      3  .    Type the new video name and tap OK .
    Trimming a Video
     1 .    Tap a video to start playing it  .
     2 .   Tap Trim .
      3  .    Drag the two tabs on the progress bar to select the portion you want to keep  . You can tap  to preview the selected portion .
     
    4 .   Once the preview ends, tap  . The trimmed video is saved as a new video file .
    Viewing Details of a Video
     1 .   Tap  next to a video you want to view the details of  .
     2 .   Tap Details .
      3  .    Check the file title, time, duration, file size, and path . Tap CLOSE when you finish .

    FM Radio
    With the FM Radio, you can search for radio channels, listen to them, and save them on your tablet . Note that the quality of the radio broadcast depends on the coverage of the radio station in your area . The wired headset works as an antenna, so always connect the headset while using the radio  . 
    Scanning and Saving Channels
     1 .    Plug in a wired headset  . From the home screen, tap  FM Radio .
     2 .   Tap ScanOK . Your tablet scans for all available channels and saves them to the All channels list  .
    Note: When you open the FM Radio app for the first time, it will automatically scan for channels and show the All channels list  .  You can also tap All channels to view the list  .
    Listening to FM Radio
     1 .    From the home screen, tap FM Radio while the headset  is connected .
     2 .  Tap All channels and select a channel .
    You can also drag left or right on the frequency display at the bottom of the screen or tap  or  to switch to other channels .
    Notes:
    •    Tap  to add the first channel to favorites, which will be listed at the bottom of the FM Radio main screen . Tap  to add more channels to favorites . Favorite channels are accessible from the FM Radio main screen . When more than four channels have 
    • been added to the favorites list, slide  up to view all favorite channels .
    •  You can save up to 16 channels to favorites .
    •  Tap  to listen to FM Radio through the tablet speaker  .
    Editing a Saved Channel
     1 .    Open the FM Radio app and tap All channels to display the list of saved channels .
     2 .    Press and hold a channel and select Rename or Delete, or tap the star to the right of a channel to add it to or remove it from favorites .
    Turning Off FM Radio
    Turning Off Automatically
    From the FM Radio main screen, tap Timing turn off and select the time you want to turn off the radio  .
    A countdown clock will appear and the radio will be turned off when 
    the clock reaches 0:00 .
    Turning Off Immediately
    From the FM Radio main screen, tap the  switch at the top of the screen .

    Sound Recorder
    Sound Recorder enables you to record voice memos and listen to them whenever you like .
    Recording a Voice Memo
     1 .    From the home screen, tap Sound Recorder .
     2 .  Tap  to start recording .
     3 .  Tap  to pause and  to continue during the recording .
    4 . Tap  to stop recording . The memo is automatically saved .
    Playing a Voice Memo
    Playing a Memo You Just Recorded
    Tap  at the bottom of the screen .
    Playing any Saved Memo
     1 .  Tap  at the top right of the screen to see all recordings .
     2 .  Tap the title of a memo to play it  .
    Note: You can also tap  to delete, share, rename, tag, trim, check file information, or set it as your notification ringtone .
    More Apps
    Backup and Restore
    From the home screen, tap Backup & Restore . You can back up your user data, such as contacts and messages, and installed applications to the memory card regularly  . If the data get lost, restore it from the memory card .
    Tap Help to view detailed guide .
    Note: You can back up your user data to the internal storage when a microSDXC card is not inserted . Please copy this data to your PC or other devices to avoid data loss .
    Calculator
    From the home screen, tap Calculator to use the tablet’s convenient built-in calculator for some basic as well as advanced mathematical equations .
    Clock
    From the home screen, tap Clock . The Clock app allows you to check local time in places around the world, set alarms, and use timers .
    Setting a New Alarm
     1 .    Open the Clock app and tap  .
     2 .    Tap a default alarm to configure it, or tap  at the bottom of the screen to create a new alarm .

     3  .    Set up the alarm options, such as time, alarm days, snooze, and alarm ringtone .
     4 .   Tap SAVE to save and exit  .
    Notes: 
    •    To enable or disable existing alarms directly, tap On  or Off  on the right side of each alarm .
    •    Tap  to configure alarm settings, including ringtone volume, alarm duration, volume crescendo, and alarm in silent mode .  
    Using World Time
     1 .    Open the Clock app and tap  .
     2 .    World time lets you check local times for cities around the world . Tap  to add a new city  .
    Using Stopwatch and Countdown
     1 .    Open the Clock app and tap  or  .
     2 .    Stopwatch allows you to record lap times while countdown allows you to set a time and count down to zero  .
    Downloads
    The Downloads app keeps a record of the files you have downloaded using apps such as Email .
    From the home screen, tap Downloads .
    •    Tap a file to open it with the appropriate application .
    •    Press and hold a file to delete or share it  .
    File Manager
    Quickly access all of your images, videos, audio clips, and other files on your internal storage and the microSDXC card .
    From the home screen, tap File Manager . You can find the file you need by category in the CATEGORY tab, or tap  LOCAL to browse folders and files on the tablet storage or  the microSDXC card .
    •    Tap folders and files to access stored items .  
    •    Press and hold an item to access option icons such as copy, move, share, or delete .
    •   To copy or move an item, navigate to a new location and tap PASTE .
    •    Tap  to create a new folder in the current directory  .
    •    Tap View by or Sort by to change the view of the list or the order of the items in the list .
    •    Tap Show hidden files to show files that are hidden by default  .
    •    Tap Multi-Select to select multiple items for deletion, sharing, copying, moving, or compression .
    •    Tap  Exit to exit the File Manager app .
    Task Manager
    From the home screen, tap Task Manager to view or  stop applications .
    •    Tap a task in the TA S K S tab to check the details of the application or force it to stop  .
    •    Tap  the APPS tab to manage all the apps on your tablet  .
    •    Tap  the RESOURCES tab to view the real-time system resources 
    information (CPU, RAM, tablet storage, and SD card memory) .

    Open the Google apps to use Google services . Some apps are put in the Google folder on the home screen .
    Note: Some content or Google services may not be available in your region .
    •   Chrome™: Use the Chrome app to browse the Internet and get your bookmarks, browsing history, and more synced with your Google account .
    •   Docs: Create, edit, and collaborate with others on documents from your tablet .
    •   Drive™: Store files on Google servers for free after you sign in to your Google account  . You can access them on your computers, tablets, and other devices then share them or collaborate with other users .
    •   Gmail: Use the Gmail service to send and receive emails .
    •   Google: Use Google search or get information when you need it with Google Now .
    •   Hangouts™: Chat with Google+ friends or send text or multimedia messages .
    •   Keep™: Create, share, and collaborate notes quickly and easily  .
    •   Maps™: Find your place and find your way in the world .
    •   Photos™: Manage photos on the tablet and on your  Google account .
    •   Play Movies & TV: Purchase, download and watch the latest  and your favorite movies and TV shows .
    •   Play Music: Play music on the tablet and on your Google account  .
