    IfthedisplayshowsClosethedoor,youtried
    tostartaprogramwiththewasherdooropen.
    Closethedoorandtheprogramwillstart.
    Overfilling
    IfthedisplayindicatesOverfilling:
    1.Shutoffthewatertap.
    2.ContacttheCustomerCareCenteratthe
    numberlistedatthebottomofthispage!
    Drainageerror
    IfthedisplayindicatesaDrainageerror,
    check:
    •thatnoobjectsarestuckinthedrainage
    hoseoutlet.
    •thatthedrainpumpisnotblockedbyfor-
    eignobjects.Cleanthepump(seethe
    "Careandcleaning"chapter).
    •thattherearenokinksinthedrainage
    hose.
    Aftertakingthenecessaryaction,runthe
    DrainprogramorpresstheDoorOpening
    button(keysymbol)toemptythemachine.If
    theproblempersists,contacttheCustomer
    CareCenteratthenumberlistedatthebot-
    tomofthispage!
    Waterintakeerror
    IfthedisplayindicatesaWaterinletfault,
    check:
    Faultwithwatersupply.Check:
    •thatthetaponthewaterpipeisopen.
    •thatthefilterinthemachine’swaterintake
    isnotblocked.
    1.Shutoffthewatertap.
    2.Unscrewthehose.
    3.Cleanthefilterintheintakevalveonthe
    machine.
    4.Screwthehosebackon.
    5.Turnonthetap.
    6.Runtheprogramagaintocheckwhether
    theerrorhasbeenfixed.
    7.Iftheproblempersists,contacttheCus-

    							Beforethemachineisused,thethreetrans-
    portprotectiondevicesshouldberemoved
    asshownbelow.
    Eachtransportprotectiondeviceconsistsof
    ascrew,awasher,andarubberspacer.After
    theprotectiondevicehasbeenremoved,the
    rubberspaceractsasaplugfortheholesfor
    thedeviceandalsoasadamper.
    •Firstremovethescrewsandthewashers.
    •Thenremovetherubberspacers.
    •Finally,therubberspacersshouldbe
    turnedoverandreplacedinthetransport
    protectiondeviceholes.
    Important!
    Inordertopreventthemachinefrombeing
    damagedwhentransported,usethetransport
    protectiondevice,whichlockstheentireinner
    compartmentinplace.Ifthetransportprotec-
    tiondeviceismissing,youcanorderonefrom
    yourretailer.

    ordinancesforelectricalandplumbingcon-
    nections.
    Cosmeticdamagemustbereportedtoyour
    dealerwithinfivedaysfromthedateofpur-
    chase.Afterunpackingthewasher,thorough-
    lychecktheunitforcosmeticdamage.
    Levelingthemachine
    Itisimportantthatthemachineislevelto
    preventexcessivevibrationsduringspincy-
    cles.Eachfootofthewasherisadjustable,
    soyoucanlevelthewasheronanysurface.
    Onceitislevel,securelytightenthelocknuts
    onthefeettopreventexcessivevibration
    duringspincycles.
    Watersupplyconnection
    SinceASKOwashershaveabuilt-inheating
    element,youonlyneedacoldwaterinlet.The
    connectionshouldbemadebysomeonewho
    issufficientlyskilled.Usethehosesupplied
    withthewasher.(Theinlethoseismarkedfor
    correctconnection.)Thewaterpressuremust
    beintherange15–146PSI.Atapshouldbe
    fittedonthewatersupplypipe.Ifanewsupply
    pipehasbeeninstalledforthewasher,it
    shouldbeflushedthoroughlytoremoveany
    foreignparticlesthatmightclogthefilterin
    thewaterinlet.

    2.Unscrewthe2screwsonthehinges.
    3.Liftthedoorupandremoveit.Supportthe
    doorwhiledoingthis.
    4.Removebothdoorpins(topandbottom).
    Fitthemontheoppositesideofthedoor.
    Refitthehinges.
    5.Undoandremovethelockhook(liftupand
    pullout)andthecoverwasherfromthe
    doorandthemachine.Fitthehookandthe
    washerontheotherside.
    6.Movetheplasticplugsontheupperand
    loweredgesofthedoor.Useaflatscrew-
    drivertoremovetheplugs.
    7.Refitthedoorbylooseningthehinge
    screwsslightly,affixingthedoor,and
    closingit.Retightenthehinges.Replace
    theToekick.
