Overflowguardfunction Ifthemachine’swaterlevelrisesabovethe normallevel,theoverflowguardfunction beginstopumpwateroutandshutsoffthe waterintake.Ifthewaterlevelhasnot droppedwithin60seconds,theprogramis terminated. Automaticdooropening Themachinecomeswithanautomaticdoor openingfunction,whichmeansthatthedoor opensautomaticallyoncetheprogramhas finished. Ifyouwishtopreventsmallchildrenorpets fromclimbingintothemachine,youcan deactivatetheautomaticdooropening function. 1.Turnoffthemachineusingthemainpower switch. 2.PresstheDoorOpenbuttonwhile simultaneouslypressingthemainpower switch.Releasethebuttons. 3.PresstheKeybuttonandtheredfieldgoes out.Automaticdooropeningisnow deactivated. 4.PresstheStart/Stopbuttontosavethe setting. Colouredcotton Colouredcottonitemswiththewashing instruction60°Cshouldbewashedat60°C forthefirsttimeinordertoremoveanyexcess dye.Ifyoudonotdoso,thereisariskthat thecolourwillrun.Usedetergentwithout bleachinordertopreservethecolourofthe fabric. Delicates Unbleachedlinen Unbleachedlinenfabricsshouldbewashed at60°C,usingdetergentcontainingnobleach oropticalwhiteners.Heavily-soiledlinencan occasionallybewashedathigher temperatures,butnottoooftenbecausethe heatcandestroythelinen’sshineand strength. Woolandsilk Thesefabricsaresometimeslabelledas machinewashableandsometimesashand wash.Themachine'sWool/Handprogramis justasgentleaswashingbyhand. Woolisespeciallysensitivetoprocessessuch aswashing. Ifyoudonotwishtospindry,youcan squeezeoutthewaterusingterrytowels.In thiscaseselectNospin. Tofindouthowtoselectthissetting,seethe “Washing”chapter.However,mostitemscan withstandashortspin.Selectshortspinby selectingaspinspeedbelow800rpm. Artificialfibresandsyntheticfibres Thesematerialsrequireplentyofroomto preventthemfromgettingcreased.Onlyfill thedrumhalffullwhenwashingartificialor syntheticfibres.Chooseashortspinby selectingaspinspeedof800rpmorless. Note! Viscoseandacetatesarefragilewhenwet. Reducingallergicreactions ThewashingmachinehasaSuperRinse option.Usethisforpeoplewithsensitiveskin, suchasthosewithallergiesandsmall children. Savetimeandenergy UsetheWhiteprogramtosavetimeand energy.Thisprogramhasashortermain washthanHeavywhitewash,butitisoften longenoughfornormallysoiledlaundry. Highwaterlevel Ifyouwantmorewaterforthemainwashand rinses,youcanusetheHighwaterlevel option.Thisisautomaticallyselectedinthe Wool/Handprogram.
