Two Thermometers in One
The Altek Model 570 is an infrared
thermometer and a digital contact
thermometer with a type K thermocouple input
packaged into one compact case. Since the
type K thermometer is combined with an
infrared thermometer into one package, you
get two great instruments for the price of one!
This instrument continues the Altek tradition of
providing excellent value for the price.
Easy to Use
The conveniently sized hand-held infrared /
type K thermometer is easy to use and simple
to read. The backlight function makes the
display simple to read even in the dark. The
red sighting laser provides easy targeting.
Adjust the emissivity of the 570 to that of the
object being measured to achieve better
accuracy. Moreover, the infrared thermometer
will automatically go into sleep mode after 15
seconds to preserve battery life.
Thermocouple Thermometer
Connect any Type K thermocouple to
measure temperatures in the lab or field.
Press a button to recall the MAXimum and
MINimum measured temperatures.
Infrared Thermometer
The Altek 570 can be used for measuring
surface temperatures of moving or rotating
objects, objects that are electrically live, or
hard to reach objects. Seek out hot spots in
electrical panels, breakers, gearboxes,
bearings, rotating machinery, lighting
ballasts, process equipment, and more. The
Altek 570 is an invaluable tool in any
preventive maintenance program and for
process control applications.

Our equipment is guaranteed against defective material and workmanship
(excluding batteries and test leads) for a period of one year. For a lifetime
warranty: (1) Simply register the unit upon receipt by completing and
returning the products Warranty Registration Card. (2) Once a year, send
the unit to any Altek authorized distribution center for factory re-
certification. Claims under warranty can be made by returning the
equipment prepaid to any authorized Altek distributor. Altek will repair, re-
calibrate or replace free of charge any unit found to be defective or out of
calibration at any time between re-certification intervals. The liability of
Altek is restricted to that given under our guarantee. No responsibility is
accepted for damage, loss or other expense incurred through sale or use
of our equipment. Under no condition shall Altek be held liable for any
special, incidental or consequential damage.
