www.aleratec.com3 Technical Tips Before starting any procedure, inspect the disc to be repaired to determ\ ine the type of procedure needed. It is generally recommended to begin with \ the Disc Cleaning procedure first, and if necessary move to the more intensive procedures. www.aleratec.com 4 Disc Cleaning Procedure The Disc Cleaning procedure removes surface contaminants such as dust, dirt, finger prints, smudges, smears and stains. Open the kit and remove the cleaning head marked “WET”. 1. Remove the cleaning head cover and then use the plastic 2. end of the brush to remove the cleaning head and the spring.
