Some more, not frequently used functions are available via selectable Setup Menu steps. You start the

CTCSS is more familiar in USA, where most repeaters use it for selectable functions. 
 
Note: European repeater station are –in most cases- not transparent for CTCSS. This 
means, that received CTCSS signals are normally not transfered to the transmitter. This 
would require special decoders, encoders or regenerators. As a consequence, CTCSS 
cannot be used if a conversation will use a standard repeater not...
