RreBurglaryInstrumentsXL-31serieseecuntyeystem.Youhavechosena
rekable,stateoftheartsecuritysystemthatisremarkablyeasytooperate.Your
systemhasbeenprofessionallyinstalledbyyourlocalSecudtyCompanywho
canexplainthespecificsofyoursystemwithinyourlocation.
Thekeypadisthearmingstationforyoursecuritysystem.Theeeareavailable
keypadsforyoursystem:
XL4612RMMetalplatekeypadcontainingindicatorlightsforeachofthe12
zones(areasofprotection),Thiskeypadcanbeflushmountedintoyourwallor
surfacemountedinabackbox.
XL4612SMThisisasurfacemountkeypadwith12LEDsformonfiorfngzone
status.
7015Keypadwtihaplasticcaseandwithindisstorlightstoshowthestatueof
eachofthezones.NOTE:Thiekeypaddisplayszonestatusindicationfights
for16zones.

friedtimeperiodknownastheexitdelay.Theentryextitimesforyoursystem

Msarmingthesecuritysystemwilldeaaivatethesystem’sburglaryfunction.
ThisprocedurecanalsobeusedtoresetyoursystemHyouaccidentallysetoff
thesystem(example,openedawindowwhilethesystemwasarmed,or
excessiveamountofsmkeactivatedfireprotectionsystem).
DISARMPROCEDURE:

IFNOALARMSHAVETAKENPLACE
UpondsarmingtheARMINGindicatorwillgooff.
Thesystemdisplaywillreflectthecurrentatatua.LCDkeypadsshoulddisplay

Ifalarmsorothercondtionssuchassystemtroubleshavetakenplacesince
theinitialsystemarming,theywillappearonthedsplay.Thecondtionsthat
haveoccurredappearinthezonedisplaysectionofthekeypad.LEDbased
keypadswillreflectthecurrentsyetemstatusthroughtheindicatorIightaas

CeRainsecuritycomponents(glassbreakdetectorsforexample)mayrequire
resetaftertheyhavebeenactivated.ThisInstallerselectedfeatureallowsthe
resetofsuchdevices,AfterDISARMingthesyetem,pressthe~)key,the
systemwillbeepandresetallofthesezones.Che&withyourinstallertosee
whetherthiefeatureapp~estoyoursyetem.
7.STAY
TheSTAYmdedeactivateanyinteriorprotectionzonesandyouwillbefree
towalkthroughoutyourlocationwithoutactivatingthealarmeystem.Toenter
theSTAYmode,thesystemmustbeREADY.(seeprevibusdescription).

acontinuousbeepandbypassedzonesappearinaslowbtinkingmodeinthe
zonestatusareaontheXL4612RM,XL4612SMor7015keypads.The7005
LCDkeypaddisplaysthezoneb~asaesasasamndarydisplayafterthe
SYSTEMREADYorSYSTEMNOTREADYasshownbalow:
