SATA drive port assignments Installing SATA drives on the iSCSI Rack Using 3.5” SATA hard disk drive, slide the drive into the drive bay. Close the front panel and using the key provided, turn the key lock to the Lock position. This will secure the drive and turn on the power to the hard drive. Top View Getting started Before starting, prepare the following items. 1. A server or workstation with a NIC or iSCSI HBA. 2. CAT 5e, or CAT 6 network cables for web GUI port and iSCSI data ports.
