58 Removal and Replacement 2. Use a flat-bladed screwdriver to remove the LCD FPC cable cover. 3. Slide the middle cover to the left side then remove the middle cover from the upper case. Note: To replace the middle cover, be sure that the latches are lined up with the uppercase. 4. Turn the keyboard over to expose the keyboard connector.

Disconnect the LVDS board from the system board using two flat-bladed screwdriver. 5. Remove the two screws at the base of the unit, then carefully detach the LCD module from the main unit.

Remove the six screws as shown below to separate the LCD and the LCD inverter board from the display panel. 8. To remove the LCD inverter board, disconnect the LCD power cable and LCD FPC cable from the inverter board. .
