Service Guide2-9 2.5.5 Installing the Security Lock Option Use the following procedure to install the optional Kensington® security lock. 1.Unpack the Kensington Lock Kit. 2.Secure the loop end of the lock to a permanent fixture located such that the notebook can be installed in a desired location. 3.Insert the lock into the slot on the left side of the computer. 4.Rotate the key to its locked position and remove the key.
