Chapter 377 5.Open the FFC locking latch and disconnect the Finger Print Reader FFC from the Button Board. 6. Remove Button Board from the bracket. 7. Chapter 379 Removing the TouchPad Bracket IMPORTANT: The TouchPad cannot removed from the Upper Cover. Replace the entire Upper Cover if the TouchPad malfunctions. 1. See “Removing the Button Board and Finger Print Reader” on page 76. 2. Lift the TouchPad FFC to detach the adhesive securing it in place. 3. Open the locking latch and disconnect the TouchPad FFC from the TouchPad. 4. Lift the Finger Print Reader protection st rip from the TouchPad Bracket as shown.
