Ensure that the cable is free from all cable clips. 4.Lift the MIC Board clear of the Upper Cover as shown.

Chapter 379 Removing the TouchPad Bracket IMPORTANT: The TouchPad cannot removed from the Upper Cover. Replace the entire Upper Cover if the TouchPad malfunctions. 1.See “Removing the Button Board and Finger Print Reader” on page 76. 2.Lift the TouchPad FFC to detach the adhesive securing it in place. 3.Open the locking latch and disconnect the TouchPad FFC from the TouchPad. 4.Lift the Finger Print Reader protection strip from the TouchPad Bracket as shown.
