NOTE: To prevent damage to the HDD, avoid pressing down on it or placing heavy objects on top of it.

Do not allow any object to come into contact with the thermal pads as their performance will be seriously degraded if they are damaged. Replace the thermal pads if any object comes into contact with them. 2.Unscrew the three securing screws of the CPU heat sink in the indicated order: 3, 2, 1. 3.Using a flat screwdriver, turn the CPU socket latch counter-clockwise 180° to release the CPU. 4.Lift the CPU arm of the thermal unit.
