How to set up DVR for remote access (End User)
1. Connect your DVR to the router using a network cable.
2. Get the DVR onto your local network- this is done by: User
3. Simply type in cmd into your PC
4. A prompt box will come up
5. Type in ipconfig and press enter
6. Note the Gateway address (3rd line), this is the address of your router (shown on the
diagram above)
7. The Gateway needs to be put into the DVR network settings- you may need to change the
ip address also. For example...

How to Factory Default the VC‐SYS‐HT0802 TVI‐DVR
Step 1:
Remove the DVR cover and locate the main board. Locate the jumper pinholes as indicated by
the yellow square as shown below in figure 1. (TP4 and TP5)

Disconnect power to the DVR. Next you will need to make the chip resistor short‐circuited
with a conductive object. While shorting the resistor, re‐connect the power.
