KEY ASSIGN
OVERVIEW
The Key  Assig n mode  lets you:
*  Assign  any voic e to  any Instrument key.
*  Assign  one voic e to  the  whole upper  row of Instrument  keys.
*  Alter  the pitch , level , pan and  decay o f voice s for  eac h Instrument  key.
*  Adjust  the accen t level s for  eac h Voice .
*  Assig n a  function  to a connected foot  switch.
*  Sav e al l Key  Assig n dat a to  on e o f four  internal memory  locations.
*  Loa d Key  Assig n dat a from  memories.

Example: The  MULTI LED lights  up, and  you  can now  continue
immediatel y with  Mult i Step setting  as described  below.
JOB #04: MULTI  STEP
The above display means  that th e decay value  of 1 6 for  the
selected  key is 5 units  larger  (+) than  the basi c Edit  Voice
value  of 11 . (An  offset  of 0 0 thus  indicates  that the key  value
i s  currently  identical with the basi c value.)
*  Note  that the Edit  Voice value  can only be offset  up to

“overstepping”  the minimum/maximum  Edit Voice  value.

OVERVIEW
The variety  of applications  for these  functions  is enormous, letting  you use the RX7  as a state-of-the-art MIDI  sound source and
