ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS 8-80 b. Check the throttle position sensor maxi-mum resistance. Out of specification → Replace the throttle position sensor. c. Connect the pocket tester ( Ω × 1k) to the throttle position sensor as shown. d. While slowly turning the throttle position sensor shaft, check that the throttle posi- tion sensor resistance is within the speci- fied range.
