LOADING THE MAGAZINE — 1. With the safety in the “on” position and the action closed, push the shot shell upwards against the carrier and forward into the magazine (Figure6). There will be a “click” as the cutoff (the part that holds the shell in the magazine tube) snaps into position. 2. 1. Pull the cocking handle all the way back, extracting and ejecting the shell from the chamber. 2. Release the cocking handle allowing the bolt to close.
