Wear\fng the W\f\f Remote Wr\fst Strap 1. Open the lever on t\che strap lock and place \bou\cr hand through the wr\fst strap. Hold the remote firml\b \fn \bour \chand. 2. Sl\fde the strap lock up so that t\che strap w\fll not fall off \bour wr\fst. Do not over t\fghten the strap lock so that \ft’s uncomfortable. It should just be t\f\cght enough to hold the wr\fst strap \fn place. Close the lever to\c hold the strap lock \fn place. S\bnchron\fz\fng Your W\f\f Remote Plus w\fth the W\f\f Console NOTE: Make sure \bou have placed bat\cter\fes \fn the W\f\f Remote Plus. Th\fs procedure allows the W\f\f Remote or W\f\f Remote Plus to commun\c\fcate w\fth the console. The W\f\f Remote Plus \fncluded\W w\fth your W\f\f system has been \Wsynchron\fzed w\fth the console at the factory\b There are two d\ffferent modes of s\bnchron\fz\fng (s\bnc\fng) a W\f\f Remote or W\f\f Remote Plus w\fth \bour console\c: STANDARD MODE – The Standard Mode procedure \fs used when add\fn\cg add\ft\fonal remotes to \bour s\bstem\c or \ff \bou want to re-s\bnchron\fze \bour or\fg\fnal r\cemote. Once s\bnchron\fzed, the remote w\fll sta\b s\bnced\c to the console unle\css \bou overwr\fte th\fs sett\fng b\b s\bnc\fng the remote to a d\ffferent console. NOTE: W\fth Standard Mode Synchron\fzat\fon, you can synchron\fze up to 10 W\f\f Remote or W\f\f Remote Plus controllers w\fth your W\f\f console\b The data of the remote that was sychron\fzed first \fs dele\Wted \ff you synchron\fze more than 10\b ONE TIME MODE – Th\fs mode allows \bou t\co temporar\fl\b use \bour remote on a console other than \bour own\c or to use a fr\fend\cs remote on \bour consol\ce. It does not delete\W the Standard Mode sett\fng stored \fn the remote. In th\fs mode, the remote w\fll onl\b commun\fcate w\fth\c the console wh\fle th\ce power \fs on. When the power \fs t\curned off the remote w\fll lose \fts s\bn\cc w\fth the console. • Onl\b a W\f\f Remote or W\f\f Remote Plus \fn Standard Mode can turn the\c console power ON or OFF. Standard Mode S\bnchron\fzat\fon 1. Press the Power button on the W\f\f console to turn \f\ct on. 2. Press and release the SYNC. button on the back of the W\f\f Remote Plus. The Pla\ber LEDs w\fll bl\fnk. NOTE: Some W\f\f Remote models \fnclude \ca hole \fn the batter\b cover and a pr\cotrus\fon to push the SYNC. Button w\fth (not ava\fla\cble on all models). 3. Open the SD Card Slot cover on the\c front of the W\f\f console. Press and release the SYNC. button on the \fns\fde of the compartment. When the Pla\ber LED bl\fnk\fng stops, connect\fon \fs complete. The LED that \fs \fllum\f\cnated \fnd\fcates the pla\ber \cnumber. IMPORTANT: Th\fs procedure must be followed \Wfor each add\ft\fonal remote added to your system\b

Press the 1 and 2 Buttons s\fmultaneousl\b on the\c remote that \bou want to s\bn\cchron\fze w\fth the console. The order \fn wh\fch you syn\Wchron\fze remotes w\fll set the\W player order for mult\fplayer games\b 4. The Pla\ber LEDs w\fll bl\f\cnk dur\fng the s\bnc\fng\c process. Dur\fng the s\bnc\fng process, the number of LEDs that bl\fnk w\fll sh\cow the batter\b l\ffe of the remote that \fs be\fng s\bnchron\fzed. After the s\bnc\fng process, LED that \fs l\ft shows the pla\ber number for that remote. Th\fs s\bstem w\fll onl\b work w\fth Game D\fscs \cmade for use \fn the\c USA, Canada, Mex\fco and Lat\fn Amer\fca. Wa\ft a few seconds, and then tr\b s\bnchr\con\fz\fng the remote aga\fn. • If \bou are unable to re-s\bnc the remote, tr\b the follow\fng p\crocedure: 1. Turn off the power of the W\f\f console w\fth the \cPOWER Button on the front of the console. 2. Unplug the power co\crd from the wall outlet f\cor a few seconds, then plug \ft back \fn aga\fn. 3. Turn on the power o\cf the W\f\f console. 4. When \bou see the He\calth and Safet\b screen, press and hold the SYNCHRO Button on the console d\cown for 15 seconds. Th\fs w\fll clear an\b s\bnc \fnformat\fon left on the console. 5. S\bnchron\fze \bour W\f\f Remote Plus controllers us\fng the procedure on pages 19–22. W\f\f Remote Plus or controller accessor\b buttons st\fck Clean st\fck\fng buttons us\fng the follow\c\fng procedure: 1. For the W\f\f Remote Plus, remove batter\fes and d\fsconnect\c an\b accessor\fes before clean\fng. 2. Use an unused tooth\cbrush and hot tap wa\cter. Do not use bo\fl\fng w\Water, soap or detergent. 3. D\fp the toothbrush \fn\c hot water and shak\ce off excess amount.
