Turn the programme selector to the desired programme; the light of the “Start (Pause)” button blinks. The temperature and spin speed indicated on the display can be altered by pressing the “Temperature” button or the “Variable spin” button . When the combination of programme and additional option(s) is not possible, the indication lights switch off automatically. Unsuitable combinations of options are deselected automatically. “Prewash” button Only for heavily soiled loads (for example sand, granular dirt) sensible. Increases the cycle time by approximately 15 min. Do not use liquid detergent for the main wash when activating the “Prewash” option. “Clean+” button Choose this option if you use an in-wash additive for stain removal (powder, for example “Vanish”) - it will optimize the additive’s efficiency to get better wash performance and stain removal. Selectable for programmes “Cotton” and “Synthetics”; choose temperature of 30 or 40°C and use with maximum load. Add an appropriate amount of in-wash additive for stain removal (powder) to the main wash chamber, together with your detergent (only use powder detergent with this option). Respect the manufacturer’s dosing instructions. Prolongs the programme by approx. 10 to 15 minutes. Appropriate for use of stain removers and bleaches on oxygen basis. Chlorine or perborate bleaches must not be used!“Easy ironing” button Can be used together with “Cotton”, “Synthetics” and “Daily load” programmes to make ironing easier. Increases the water quantity and the clothes are spun very gently. “Intensive rinse” button More water is added and rinse cycle is prolonged. This option is particularly suitable for areas with very soft water or for washing baby linen, and helps people with allergies. “ Variable spin” button Every programme has a predefined spin speed. Press the button to set another spin speed. If spin speed “0” is selected, the final spinning is cancelled but intermediate spin peaks remain during rinse. The water is drained out only. If you select “Rinse hold” , the laundry remains in the last rinse water without progressing to the final spin cycle, to avoid creasing and prevent colours from changing. To activate the “Rinse hold”, press the “Variable spin” button repeatedly until the “Rinse hold” symbol on the display lights up. - The wash programme stops to “Rinse hold” when the “Rinse hold” symbol on the display blinks; the light of “Start (Pause)” blinks as well. - To terminate the “Rinse hold” by draining the water, without any spinning, press the “Start (Pause)” button. - To terminate the “Rinse hold” by spinning the laundry, press the “Variable spin” button to select the desired spin speed and then “Start (Pause)” to start the spin cycle. - Do not leave the laundry to soak for too long in the “Rinse hold”. If there is a programme setting which you use frequently, the appliance offers the possibility to save one setting for each programme so that it can be used again by just pushing one button.CONSUMPTION DATA Programme Te m p e r a t u r e (°C) Load (kg) Wa t e r (l) Energy (kWh) Approx.
