    							Flash-Shots
The bessy ak has a built-in capacitor type flashunit for AG-1 bulbs, operating on a battery-capa-citor ignition. lt is fed by a 15 volt battery, insertedas follows: Press arrow marking (8) sidewardsagainst the bottom-plate and lift up the alternateside. The battery must be fitted with the * poleinwards (see illustration).
By pressing the flash symbol (3), the reflectorswings out. The shutter is automatically set to 1/30of a second and the flash-exposure automaticgoes into action. This means that the correct aper-ture is set automatically as you focus.
A useful hint: For indirect flash (against the ceiling atnormal depth or against a reflecting sidewall) thereflector can swing aside tor another 90 degrees.
The flashbulbs are inserted by pushing the bulbinto the socket in the reflector, after the flashguard has first been removed. However, you shouldaways put the guard back on when shooting apicture! Dispose of the used flashbulb by pressingthe button (12), after the flash guard has againbeen removed.
