As with any sophisticated communications device, installation of the
STARPLUSTri ad 3S yst em, r equi r es the c a re and for et hought of a
competent technician. To assure easy servicing and reliable operation,
se veral fa ctors must be cons ide re d w hen pla nnin g the syste m

AC outlet, earth ground, and lighting and ventilation are available, verify
that all equipment required is on-site and has not been damaged during

KSU & Power Supply (PSU) Installation
The system consists of a maximum of two cabinets that can be stacked
tog ether. The firs t ca binet, or Ba sic KSU (BKSU), houses the commo n
equi pme nt boa rds and pe ri phe ra l equi pme nt boar ds . T he Expa nsi on
cabinet (EKSU2) mounts to the right of the BKSU.
