5 25 SettiNg Up clOSed captiONiNg Your TV can display closed captions for programs that include them. Closed captions display a transcription of a program’s dialogue.If the program you are viewing is not being broadcast with closed captions, the TV will not display them. For the E320AR, E420AR, and E500AR this option is only available when both Ambient Light Sensor and Backlight Control are set to Off. Brightness - Adjusts the black level of the picture. When this setting is too low, the picture may be too dark to distinguish details. When this setting is too high, the picture may appear faded or washed out. 5 33 Adding New Channels Occasionally, you may need to add a new analog channel or add a new range of channels. You can do this by using the Partial Channel Search and Add Analog Channel options. 5 34 Skipping Channels After a channel scan is completed, you may find that some channels are too weak to watch comfortably. There may also be some channels you do not want to view.
