1 4 Installing the Base 1 Align the 8 tabs on the base with the 8 slots on the bottom of the TV. Slots on TV 2 Press down on one side of the base and gently slide forward until you feel it click into place. Press here while sliding forward. 3 Press down on the other side of the base and gently slide forward until you feel it click into place. Base installation is complete. Press here while sliding forward. Removing the Base 1 If you plan to wall mount the TV, you will need to remove the base. To remove the base, gently lift the wide tab. Gently lift this tab 2 while gently lifting the tab, gently slide one side of the base away from\ TV. 3 Gently slide the other side of the base away from the TV.
1 5 Installing the TV on a Wall To mount your TV on a wall, you will need a wall mount. Consult the information below to find the appropriate mount for your TV model:Installing a TV on a wall requires lifting. To prevent injury or damage to the TV, ask someone to help you. After you have determined that you have the correct mount for your TV, you can begin the installation. To install your TV on a wall: 1 . Disconnect any cables connected to your TV. 2 . Place the TV face-down on a clean, flat, stable surface. Be sure the surface is clear of debris that can scratch or damage the TV. 3 . Remove the base by loosening and removing the screws. 4 . Attach your TV and wall mount to the wall, carefully following the instructions that came with your mount. Use only with a UL-listed wall mount bracket rated for the weight/load of this TV. See Appendix B - Specifications for the weight of this TV.
2 6 Controls and Connections REaR PanEl (E191Va & E221Va) Rear Panel - E191VA & E221VA HDMI - Connect HDMI device. PC Audio In - Connect 3.5mm PC audio cable. RGB - Connect RGB cable to PC. Component/Composite - Connect component or composite device. Coaxial - Connect coaxial cable from cable, satellite, or antenna. 3.5mm Audio - Connect headphones powered speakers, or other 3.5mm audio device. USB 2.0 - Connect USB thumb drive to play photo slideshow or to update firmware.

2 8 Side Panel SIDE PanEl POWER - Turn TV off or on. MENU - Open the on-screen menu. CHANNEL UP/DOWN - Change the channel. VOLUME UP/DOWN - Increase or decrease volume level. INPUT - Change input source. Ambient Light Sensor - Automatically adjusts backlight to give you the best picture.

VolUME UP/Do Wn Increase or decrease loudness of the audio. ok Select the highlighted menu option. V BUTTon Open the USB photo viewer.
2 11 Replacing the Batteries 1 . Remove the battery cover. 2 . Insert two batteries into the remote control. Make sure that the (+) and (-) symbols on the batteries match the (+) and (-) symbols inside the battery compartment. 3 . Replace the battery cover. • Use only good quality batteries. • Inserting the batteries incorrectly may result in cracking or leakage that may cause a fire or result in injury. • Dispose of old or dead batteries in accordance with local hazardous waste regulations. • Keep batteries away from children and pets.
