3 14 CONNECTING A PC ConnECTInG a PC RGB Cable (For Video) 3.5mm Cable (For Audio) Your TV can be used to display output from a personal computer. To use your TV as a PC display: 1 . 4 15 Completing the first-Time Setup The first time you turn on the TV, the Setup App will guide you through each of the steps necessary to get your TV ready for use. Before you begin the first-time setup:• Your TV should be installed and the power cord should be connected to an electrical outlet. See Installing the TV on page 3. • Have your remote ready. 5 17 Using the on-Screen Menu Your TV features an easy-to-use on-screen menu. To open the on-screen menu, press the MENU button on the remote. You can also open the on-screen menu by pressing the VIA button and selecting HDTV Settings from the VIA Dock, then pressing OK. 5 18 ChanGInG ThE InPUT SoURCE External devices such as DVD players, Blu-Ray Players, and video game consoles can be connected to your TV. Closed captions display a transcription of a program’s dialogue.If the program you are viewing is not being broadcast with closed captions, the TV will not display them.
