3.5 Turning on the Power
Press the ON  button on the remote control to turn on the H9080FD.  
The power LED indicator flashes green to indicate that it is warming up.\
 
When the projector is ready for use, the LED indicator turns off, and th\
e projector lights.
3.6 Changing the OSD Language
The H9080FD can display the menus in  English, Español, Français, Deutsch, Nederlands, Italiano, 繁體中文, and 简体中文.

3.8 Lens Adjustments
The H9080FD gives you a great deal of control over the picture size, pos\
ition and focus.
Focus
To focus the projected image, grasp the 
lens by the front ring and rotate it.

Lens Shift
To access the lens shift controls:
Loosen the two screws located at the 
rear side and underneath of the projec-
tor as shown in the figure at the right.
Slide the center portion of the top cover 
backward to expose the holes for lens

4.1 Selecting an Aspect Ratio
Press the aspect ratio () button to select the appropriate aspect ratio for the type of program\
 material being 
viewed.
4.2 Selecting An Input Source
When you turn on the  H9080FD, it switches to the last selected 
input and looks for a valid signal. 
Use these buttons on the remote control to select an input source 
directly. 
4.3 Using the On-Screen Menus

GENERAL
The H9080FD GENERAL Menu, shown in Figure 4-2, provides access to the most commonly-used projector functions.

Source Select: To select a video source, press  or  to highlight Source Select, then press ENTER. This dis-
plays the Source Select submenu, shown in Figure 4-3.

Menu Position: Select Menu Position from the GENERAL menu to change the OSD menu positi\
on.  
The default setting is “” (top left). 
PIP Select: To select a Picture in Picture source, press  or  to highlight PIP Select, then press ENTER.  
This displays the PIP Select sub-menu.  
The default source selection is Off. All sources that are not available \
(refer to Source Enable on page 49) are grayed out.

Recall Memory: Select Memory from the General menu, and then press Enter to activate \
