Getting Photos and Videos from your Camera to Your Computer 
An SD card needs to be inserted. Do not disconnect the cable during transfer. Doing so will

Transferring Photos and Videos: MACINTOSH

3) Click on the device icon and open the DCIM folder and the folder inside to view the media
