Crop Image Menu You can crop any picture on your camera with the Crop feature. 1) Press the SET button to open the menus for the current mode. 2) Press the LEFT or RIGHT direction control button to scroll and select the chosen menu. 3) Press the UP or DOWN to highlight the Crop option. 4) Press the SET button or the top Multi-Function Key 1 to open the crop option. 5) The crop window will open on the selected picture. 6) Use the directional buttons to move the crop box to define the desired crop area. 7) Press the top Multi-Function key 1 to enlarge the crop box and the bottom Multi-Function key 2 to reduce the crop box. 8) When you are ready to crop, press the Shutter button. 9) When you see the cropped picture appear, press the Shutter button again to save or press the SET button to cancel and return to the previous menu. 10) If you selected to save, the cropped picture will now be saved as a new picture to your memory card. Protect/Lock Menu Pictures and Videos taken with your camera can be protected or “locked” to prevent any deletion or alteration being made to the files. 1) Press the SET button to open the menus for the current mode. 2) Press the LEFT or RIGHT direction control button to scroll and select the chosen menu.
Downloaded from www.Manualslib.com manuals search engine 41 3) Press the UP or DOWN direction control button to scroll through the menu options. 4) Press the SET button or the top Multi-Function Key 1 to select the desired option. 5) Press the LEFT or RIGHT button to select the next menu item. 6) Press the bottom Multi-Function Key 2 to exit the menu and return to your previous mode. 7) Any image that is locked will display a lock symbol on the LCD screen when viewing that image in the playback mode. Photos that are not locked will not display the lock symbol. 8) Remember that you cannot delete or edit photos while they are locked. Delete Menu While in the playback mode, you can delete pictures from your camera through the Delete menu. 1) Use the LEFT or RIGHT button to select the image you would like to delete. 2) Press the SET button to open the menus. The top Multi-Function Key 1 is inactive. 3) Scroll to the Delete Menu. 4) Press the UP or DOWN direction control button to scroll through the menu options. 5) To delete this one photo, select “Delete This Photo?” 6) To delete all the images (including all unlocked photos and videos) on your camera’s memory card, select “Delete All Images”. 7) Press the SET button to select the desired option. 8) You will be asked to confirm your selection. 9) Press the UP or DOWN direction control button to select ‘Yes’ to delete or ‘No’ to cancel the delete request. 10) Press the SET button or the top Multi-Function Key 1 to activate the choice. 11) If ‘Yes’ is selected, the photos will be deleted as desired. 12) Press the bottom Multi-Function Key 2 to exit the menu and return to your previous mode.
Downloaded from www.Manualslib.com manuals search engine 42 Delete with the Quick Function Delete Button You can also access the delete menu in Playback mode by pressing the top Multi-Function Key 1 . 1) While the camera is in Playback mode, view the photo you would like to delete. 2) Press the top Multi-Function Key 1 . 3) The delete menu will open. 4) Delete the photo(s) as desired. 5) Press the bottom Multi-Function Key 2 to exit the menu and return to your previous mode. Print Photos Menu You can use the Print Photos menu to print the photos that are on your camera directly to a Pictbridge compatible printer. 1) Scroll through your pictures and find the one you would like to print. 2) Press the SET button to open the menus for the current mode. 3) Press the LEFT or RIGHT direction control button to scroll and select the chosen menu. 4) Press the UP or DOWN direction control button to scroll through the menu options. 5) Press the SET button when highlighting the “Print This Photo” option to print the selected photo. 6) You will be asked to connect the camera to the Pictbridge printer. 7) To cancel the Print option before connecting to the printer, press the SET button again. 8) Connect the one end of the USB cable provided in the package to the camera and the other end to the Pictbridge port of the printer. 9) Once connected, follow the instructions on the printer to proceed with the printing process. 10) Select the “Cancel” option to exit the menu and return to the previous mode.

The Slideshow menu allows you to set the interval length of time that each picture will display during the slideshow. 1) Press the SET button to open the menus for the current mode. 2) Press the LEFT or RIGHT direction control button to scroll and select the chosen menu. 3) Press the UP or DOWN direction control button to scroll through the menu options. 4) Press the SET button or the top Multi-Function Key 1 to select the desired option. 5) A selected option icon will appear on the selected item. 6) The camera will revert back to the Playback mode. 7) Press the “Up” Quick Function button to initiate the slideshow 8) Press any button to exit the slideshow and return to the previous mode.

When the camera is first powered ON, the camera will be in Photo Capture Mode. Press the DOWN Video direction button to access the Video Capture Mode. Taking a Video 1) While in Video Capture Mode use the LCD display on the back of the camera to direct the camera at the scene you would like to capture. 2) Click the top Multi-Function Key 1 to Zoom In and the bottom Multi-Function Key 2 to Zoom Out, if desired. 3) Press the Shutter button on the top of the camera to start the video capture. 4) You will see a red icon at the top of the LCD indicating that the recording is in progress. 5) To stop the video recording, press the shutter button again. 6) The video will automatically be saved to the SD memory card. Video Capture Mode Quick Function Buttons Your digital camera has a four-directional pad that functions as Quick Function buttons. Image Resolution Menu The Image Resolution menu allows you to choose the desired size of the images taken by your camera. Image Quality Menu The Image Quality menu allows you to select the desired quality level of the images taken by your camera.
