Prepare Your Camera for use 
Install batteries 
Your  camera  requires three AAA batteries (alkaline batteries recommended). Please  refer  to  the following installation instructions:  1. Open the battery compartment on the side of the camera.               2. Insert the alkaline batteries correctly, with the correct polarity as shown on the battery cover.  3. Close the battery compartment.  When the Low Battery icon  and “Low Battery” message flashes on the LCD screen, you need to replace your...

WARNING: Unless  you  are  using  an  SD  memory  card,  opening  the  battery  compartment  and removing the battery will erase the test photos currently stored in the camera. Download your photos as often as possible.    Photos will be lost when the camera switches-off or when the batteries run low. Do not open the battery door before switching off the camera. Note:  1.                 Locate the SD memory card slot on the bottom of the camera and insert an SD memory card as above. 
You will feel  and hear  a “Click” sound. When  the  icon  appears on  the  LCD  screen this indicates that your SD card is installed correctly.  Note:  1. After  you  insert the  SD  memory  card,  a “Copy  to  Card?” message will appear on  the  LCD. Starting Your Digital Camera 
 
Power on  Press the Power button once to turn on your camera. The LCD will light up and the camera will emit a “beep” to indicate that your camera is turned on and ready for use.   
Power off Press the Power button once to turn off your camera. When there is insufficient battery power, a “Low Battery” message  will  appear on the  LCD screen  and the camera will power  off  automatically  after  a few seconds.
