    MENU OPTIONS
    Camera Menu
    This menu is for the basic settings to be used when capturing still images.
    1. Rotate the mode dial to A , P , SCENE , Tv , Av or M and turn your ViviCam 6300 on.
    2. Press

    Digital ZoomThis sets whether or not to use digital zoom at the time of shooting.

    ISO Sets the sensitivity for taking pictures. When the sensitivity is raised
    (and the ISO figure isincreased), photography will become possible
    even in dark locations, but the more pixilated (grainer) the image will
    appear.

    ColorSets the color of the image that will be captured.

    Saturation To capture an image, your ViviCam 6300 offers you three different
    degrees of color to match with your preference.
    Your images will demonstrate different impression by selecting
    different degrees of color. This is called “Saturation”.

    Date Imprint The date of recording can be printed directly on the still images. This
    function must be activated before the image is captured. The date
    appears on the right bottom of the captured picture. When images
    are shot with date imprint feature, the date cannot be removed later.

    Video Menu
    This menu is for the basic settings to be used when recording video clips.
    1. Rotate the mode dial to 
     mode and turn your ViviCam 6300 on.

    3. Use S or T to select the desired setting, and press the 
     button.
    4. To exit from the playback menu, press the

    In the   (Playback) menu, set which settings are to be used for playback.

    Resize Changes the size of a recorded image.
    Resizing replaces the original image with the changed image.  Only resizing to the
    smaller size is available.

    Quality ChangeChange the quality (compression rate) of a recoded image.
    Compresses images down to half of their size or more, overwrites an old size images

    Copy To Card Allows you to copy your files from the ViviCam 6300’s internal memory to a memory
    card. Of course, you can only do this if you have a memory card installed and some

    Setup Menu
    This feature allows you to set up the default settings by preference for using your ViviCam 6300.
    1. Rotate the mode dial to  
     (Setup) mode and turn your ViviCam 6300 on.
    2. Press 
     ,then use W or X to select the [Set-up1] / [Set-up2] / [Set-up3] menu.
    3. Use S or T to select the desired option item, then press the 
     button.
    4. To exit from the setup menu, rotate the mode dial to other desired mode again.

    FormatErases all images and reformats the SD card loaded in your ViviCam 6300. Protected
    images are also erased. SD card cannot be formatted if it is write-protected.

    BeeperThis sets whether or not to mute the startup sound, and the camera sound each
    time you press a camera button.

    Item Functional Description
    Reset NumberSets whether or not to reset the file number when you take photographs. This
    creates a new folder. The captured images are recorded to the newly created
    folder from number 0001. If you want to reset the file number, be sure that no
    images are recorded in the internal memory or the SD memory card.

    Set to DefaultReturns all basic settings to the ViviCam 6300’s default settings. The time setting
    will not be reset.

    VersionThis displays the current firmware version of the ViviCam 6300.

    Item Functional Description
    USB Mode Selects to choose one of the following modes for further settings.
    * PC / PictBridge / PC CAM.
    TV Sets video output of the ViviCam 6300 for matching the video output system of
    the equipment that you are going to connect to the ViviCam 6300.
    * PAL / NTSC
    LCD Brightness This sets the brightness of the LCD monitor.
    The adjustment range is from -5 to +5.
    Auto Shut Down If no operation is performed for a specific period of time, the power to the ViviCam 6300
    is automatically turned off. This feature is useful to reduce battery wear.
