Sound
Turns the camera speaker ON/OFF.
1. Set the mode dial to [SET-UP] and power on the
camera.
2. Use the  c or d  buttons to select Sound.
3. Press the SET button.
The pull down menu for Sound is displayed on
the LCD.
4. Use the  c or d  buttons to select the desired
sound setting.
[ON]: Enable the camera speaker.
[OFF]:Disable the camera speaker.
5. Press the SET button to confirm the setting.

Turns camera function-beeps ON/OFF.

Auto Power Off
If no camera button is pressed for a defined period of time while the camera is on, the
camera turns off automatically to conserve power. The default value is 1 minute.
You may select other time periods.
1. Set the mode dial to [SET-UP] and power on the
camera.
2. Use the  c or d  buttons to select Auto PoFF.
3. Press the SET button.

Custom Settings
The Custom Setting contains five items: Date/Time,
System Reset, Language, Video Output, and System
Information.
Date/Time
Set the Date and Time.
1. Set the mode dial to [SET-UP] and power on the
camera.
2. Use the  c or d  buttons to select Date/Time.
3. Press the SET button.
The Date/Time menu is displayed on the LCD
monitor.

You may choose one of several languages for the on-screen display operating
language.
1. Set the mode dial to [SET-UP] and power on the
camera.

TRANSFERRING RECORDED IMAGES/

Step 1: Installing the USB Driver
Windows 98 computers
The USB driver on the CD-ROM is exclusively for
Windows 98 computers.  Installing the USB driver
on computers running Windows 2000/ME/XP is not
necessary.
1. Insert the CD-ROM that came with the camera
into your CD-ROM drive. The welcome screen
appears.
2. Click “INSTALL USB DRIVER”. Follow the on-
screen instructions to complete the installation.
