    IMAGE PLAYBACK
    In [  ] Playback mode you can view your images and video clips. Yo u can even magnify (zoom in on) your
    images. Playback mode provides a thumbnail image display function that allows you to quickly search for the
    image that you want. Yo u may view your images in a slideshow.
    Single Image Replay
    To Play back still images one image at a time.
    1. Open the lens cover and press the POWER button to turn on your camera.
    2. Press twice the MODE button to enter [ 
     ] Playback mode.
      The last recorded image appears on the LCD.
    3. View and select your recorded images by using the 
     /  button.
      To view the previous image, press the   button.
      To view the next image, press the  button.
    Note:
      To  exit [  ] Playback mode, press the MODE button.
      If there is no image stored in the internal memory or on the memory card, [No Image] appears on the LCD
    monitor.

    Playback Zoom
    While reviewing your images, you may enlarge a selected portion of an image. This magnification capability
    allows you to view fine details.
    1. Open the lens cover and press the POWER button to turn on your camera.
    2. Press the MODE button twice to enter [ 
     ] Playback mode.
      The last image frame appears on the LCD monitor.
    3. Select an image by using the 
     /  button.
    4. Enlarge the image by toggling the  
     button.
    5. Use the 
     /  /  /  button to select the area to enlarge.
    6. To return to the regular display from 4X-enlarged status, press the 
    button.
    Note:
      Each press of the   button, the modes switch cyclically:
         1X—>2X—>3X—>4X—>1X.

    Viewing up to Nine Images at a Time
    This function allows you to view nine thumbnail images on the LCD monitor simultaneously so that you can quickly
    scan for a particular image.
    1. Open the lens cover and press the POWER button to turn on your camera.
    2. Press twice the MODE button to enter [ 
     ] Playback mode.
    3. Press the [ 
     ] thumbnail button and nine thumbnail images appear on
    the LCD monitor. (Assuming there are nine or more recorded images in
    the memory.)
    4. Use the 
     /  /  /   button to move the cursor to select the image to
    be displayed at regular size.
    5. Press the 
      button to display the selected image on the full screen.

    Viewing Video Clips
    To view recorded video clips, follow the steps below:
    1. Open the lens cover and press the POWER button to turn on your camera.
    2. Press twice the MODE button to enter [ 
     ] Playback mode.
    3. Select the video clip that you want to view by using the  
     /  button.
    Slide Show
    The Slide show function enables you to play your images back automatically in sequential order as a slide show.
    This is a very useful and entertaining feature for reviewing recorded images and for presentations.
    1. Open the lens cover and press the POWER button to turn on your camera.
    2. Press twice the MODE button to enter [ 
     ] Playback mode. Then press
        the MENU button to enter the Playback menu.
    3. Select “Slide show” by using the 
     /  button then press the  button
    to enter the sub-menu.
    4. Set the playback interval by using the 
     or   button and press
    the 
     button to confirm.
    The slideshow starts displaying your images on the LCD, one by one,
    at the interval you set.
    To stop the slideshow display, press the  button.
    Note:
      To exit playback (slide show) you may choose Exit from the Slide show menu.
      You can adjust the slideshow display interval from [1 sec.], [3 sec.], [6 sec.] or [10 sec.].

    Protecting Images
    This feature allows you to prevent images from being accidentally erased.
    1. Open the lens cover and press the POWER button to turn on your camera.
    2. Press twice the MODE button to enter [ 
     ] Playback mode. Then press
        the MENU button to enter the Playback menu.
    3. Select Protect by using the 
     /  button, and press the  button.
    4. You can protect one image or all images at one time by
    using the 
     /  button , and press the  button.
      Protect One: Protect one image
      Protect All: Protect all images
    5. Select “UNLOCK” or “LOCK” by using the 
     /  button.
      Unlock: Unlock the protected image.
      Lock: Protect the selected image or all images.
    6. Press the  
     button again to confirm the setting.

    ERASING
    Deleting Images and Video Clips
    You can delete a captured image or a recorded video clip at a time by pressing the   [  ] delete button.
    1.Open the lens cover and press the POWER button to turn on your camera.
    2. Press continuously the MODE button to enter [ 
     ] Playback mode.
      The last image frame appears on the LCD monitor.
    3. View and select unwanted image by using the 
     /  button, then press
    the  [ 
     ] delete button.
    4. Continue the deletion if necessary.
      If all images are deleted, [No Image] will pop up.
      To exit the deletion, press again the MODE button again.
    Note:
      Please note that deleted images cannot be recovered. Exercise adequate caution before deleting a file.
      Protected images cannot be deleted with the erase function.

    Deleting All Images and Video Clips
    1. Open the lens cover and press the POWER button to turn on your camera.
    2. Press twice the MODE button to enter [ 
     ] Playback mode. Then press
        the MENU button to enter the Playback menu.
    3. Select Delete by using the 
     /  button, and press the   button.
    4. Select [Delete All] by using the 
     /  button, then press the   button
    to confirm the deletion.
    Note:
      Please be aware of that deleted images cannot be recovered. Exercise adequate caution before deleting a file.
      Protected images cannot be deleted with the erase function.
     If a memory card is present; the camera will automatically use the card in preference to internal memory.

    Formatting an SD Memor y Card or Internal Memor y
    Formatting an SD card or internal memory will erase all the images on the SD memory card/internal memory and
    recover the used memory space..
    1. Open the lens cover and press the POWER button to turn on your camera.
    2. Press twice the MODE button to enter [ 
     ] Playback mode. Then press
        the MENU button to enter the Playback menu.
    3. Select Delete by using the 
     /  button, and press the   button.
    4. Select [Format ] by using the 
     /  button, and press the  button.
    5. If you want to format the SD memory card or the internal memory choose
    [Yes] by pressing the 
     /  button, then press the  button to confirm.
      To cancel the action, select [No] instead.
      [No Image] pops up after the SD memory card or the internal memory
         has been formatted.
    Note:
    Be sure the SD memory card is properly inserted into the camera before formatting it.
    To format images or video clips recorded in the internal memory, be sure to remove your SD memory card first.
    
    Formatting will erase all information (even unrelated data) from the memory/card.

    TRANSFERRING IMAGES AND VIDEO CLIPS TO YOUR
    COMPUTER
    You can share recorded images and video clips with your family or friends via e-mail or post them on the Web.
    Before doing those things, you need to connect the camera to your computer by using the USB cable and then
    transfer the images and video clips.
    To transfer images and video clips from the camera to your computer, follow the steps below:
    Step 1: Installing the USB driver (only for Windows 98)
    Step 2: Connecting the camera to your computer
    Step 3: Downloading images and video clips

    Step 1: Installing the USB Driver on Windows 98 Computers
    The USB driver on the supplied CD-ROM is exclusively for Windows 98. Installing the USB driver on computers
    running Windows 2000/Me/XP is not necessary. Be sure to install the driver before connecting your camera for the
    first time.
    1. Insert the CD-ROM packaged with the camera into the CD-ROM drive. The welcome screen appears.
    2. Click “Install USB Driver”. Follow the on-
    screen  instructions to complete
    the installation. After the USB driver installation is complete, restart your
    computer.
