19 PREPARING YOUR VIVICAM 3915 Installing the Batteries You can use 2 AA size batteries (either Ni-MH or Alkaline) to power you\ r camera. NiMH rechargeable batteries offer improved performance and economy. Battery power is convenient for capturing images or recording video clips. 1. Make sure your ViviCam 3915 is off. 2. 20 E F S G Using an AC Power Adapter (Optional Accessor y available from Vivitar Corporation) There’s another way to power your ViviCam 3915–using an AC power adapter. AC power is recommended for long periods of continuous use or for transferring images to your computer if not using freshly charged Ni-MH batteries. 1. Make sure your ViviCam 3915 is off. 2. Open the port cover and connect one end of the AC power adapter to the jack labeled “DC IN”. 3. Connect the other end to an electrical outlet. Note:...
