However, the protected images can be lost if the memory card (SD card or MMC) is formatted by the camera. 1. Set the dial knob to . 2. Press the menu button. 3. The camera also lets you specify the number of copies to print for each selected image. When you insert your memory card to a DPOF-compatible printer, only the marked images will be printed. [PRINT SETTING] Enables you to set the print setting. 1. Set the dial knob to . 2. Press the menu button. 3. Press the or button to select PRINT SETTING, and press the ENTER button, the following sub menu is displayed. 4. Press the or button to select one of the PRINT SETTING sub menus (SELECT/DATE PRINT/QUANTITY). [SELECT]: allows you to select the image to set the print setting. Press the or button to select the desired image. [DATE PRINT]: allows you to include date imprint on the image. Press the or to select if the captured date is printed or not. [QUANTITY]: allows you to select the image quantity from 1 ~ 99. Select the image quantity you want to print by pressing the or button.It is indicated by icon. [CLEAR ALL PRINT SETTINGS] If the memory card has the images that have already been set the print setting, this menu is displayed. Press the or button to select YES/NO option. If you select YES and press the ENTER button, all the print settings in the memory card are cleared and the “PRINT SETTING” menu is displayed.If you select NO and press the ENTER button, the print settings in the memory card are not cleared. Then the Playback main menu is displayed. Note: You need to clear the old print settings that have been set in the memory card before you set the new print setting. This setting allows you to set the time when the camera turns off automatically. To return to the normal state after the Auto Shut Off has been executed, press the Power button to turn the power on again. When the camera power is supplied by an AC adapter, the auto shut off is fixed at 5 minutes. 1. Set the dial knob to SETUP. 2. Press the• or button to select AUTO SHUT OFF. 3. (Driver installation: Applicable only on Windows 98 and Mac OS 8.6) System Requirements Before installing the camera software, make sure your computer meets the following system requirements: Windows 98/2000/Me/XP, Pentium 166 MHz or higher for PC Users Mac OS 8.6/9.0/9.1/X, Power PC CPU for Macintosh Users Color monitor (800 x 600 24-bit or higher recommended) Available USB port, CD-ROM drive 80 MB available hard disk space At least 32 MB RAM Installing the Software (Driver & Image Application) 1. Insert your camera’s Installation CD into your CD-ROM drive. 2. The installation program starts. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the camera software installation. 3. Restart your computer. Connecting the Camera to Your Computer Your digital camera comes with a USB cable that you can use to connect the camera to your computer. 1.Plug the smaller connector of the USB cable into the USB port on your camera. 2.Plug the other end of the USB cable to your computer’s USB port. Make sure the USB cable is properly connected between your camera and computer. 2. Turn on your camera’s power. The camera gets into the PC mode regardless the dial knob position. 3. To access the pictures on the memory card: If you are using Windows, double-click My Computer on the desktop. You will then see a drive labeled “Removable disk”. Click that drive letter. If you are using Macintosh, double-click the “ untitled ” disk on the desktop. 4. Double-click the DCIM folder. 5. To copy the picture files: Double-click the existing sub folders. Then, drag and drop the image files to the desired location on your computer’s hard disk. Note: While the camera is connected to your computer, the camera will not allow you to take pictures.
