You can capture an image using a flash mode suitable to your circumstances. 1. 23 Flash Mode Description [ ] Flash off The flash will not fire. Select this mode when capturing images in a place where flash photography is prohibited, or when the distance to the subject is beyond the effective range of the flash.(10 feet or more) [ ] Fill flash (on) The flash will always fire regardless of the lighting conditions. 24 E F S G Self-Timer By using the self-timer you can get into the scene when capturing group shots. Self-timer duration can be set to 5 seconds or 10 seconds. Self-timer mode appears cyclically as [05] --> [10]- -> [Display Off]. After the self-timer is set, the shutter automatically releases after 5 seconds or 10 seconds.
