20 E Digital Zoom Using digital zoom, images can be enlarged even beyond the extent of the optical zoom so that the subject appears even closer. Using digital zoom, images appear even closer. Whereas digital zoom is a compelling feature, the more an image is enlarged (zoomed), the more pixilated (grainier) the image will appear. 21 E Self-Timer When the self-timer is set, the camera automatically takes a shot after 10 or 2 seconds. This allows you to get into the scene when capturing group images. 1.
