When using exposure compensation, the bracketing series will be made in relation to the
compensated exposure.
Exposure Compensation
The exposure can be compensated to intentionally brighten or darken the overall recorded image
within the range of 2.0 at 1/3 intervals. The exposure compensation value (EV) will remain in
effect until it has been reset. In auto recording mode, EV is also reset when the main switch is
moved to another position.

Manual Recording
The basic operation of the camera in manual recording mode is identical to auto recording mode.
Thoroughly familiarize yourself with the previous section before moving on.

Changing the White Balance
White balance allows you to obtain the highest color fidelity possible by taking into account the
lighting conditions in which the camera is operating. Set the appropriate white balance setting to
remove the color cast that the current lighting conditions add. White Balance is set in the basic

Movie Recording
Movies can be recorded with this camera. The motion JPEG image is 320 X 240 pixels. The effective
image area is 304x240 pixels. The maximum recording time for a movie is up to 60 seconds.
In movie recording, some functions can be used, some are fixed, and some are disabled. Exposure

Recorded images can be displayed on the LCD monitor and on the TV monitor.

Navigating the menu
You can access the advanced camera setting to customize your camera according to your personal
preference. To access the advanced camera setting with different camera modes (Auto Recording,
Manual Recording, SETUP), the built-in Color LCD monitor is required.
Settings made with the mode menu will remain in effect until changed or the camera is reset to its

Auto Recording Mode Menu
Auto Recording menu contains Image size, image
quality, voice memo, date imprint, digital zoom,
instant playback options.
Image Size
This camera has four image size settings :
2048x1536, 1600x1200, 1280x960, 640x480.
Changing image size affects the number
of pixel in each image. The greater the image
size, the larger the file size. Image size must
