    label. This ensures that your display is designed, manufactured 
    and tested according to some of the strictest quality and 
    environmental requirements in the world. This makes for a high 
    performance product, designed with the user in focus that also 
    minimizes the impact on the climate and our natural 
    environment.
    TCO Certified is a third party verified program, where every product mod\
    el is tested by 
    an accredited impartial test laboratory. TCO Certified represents one of\
     the toughest 
    certifications for displays worldwide.
    Some of the Usability features of the TCO Certified for displays: •  Good visual ergonomics and image quality is tested to ensure top perform\
    ance and 
    reduce sight and strain problems. Important parameters are luminance, co\
    ntrast, 
    resolution, black level, gamma curve, color and luminance uniformity, co\
    lor rendition and 
    image stability.
    •  Product have been tested according to rigorous safety standards at an im\
    partial 
    laboratory.
    •  Electric and magnetic fields emissions as low as normal household backgr\
    ound levels.
    •  Low acoustic noise emissions.
    Some of the Environmental features of the TCO Certified for displays: •  The brand owner demonstrates corporate social responsibility and has a c\
    ertified 
    environmental management system (EMAS or ISO 14001).
    •  Very low energy consumption both in on- and standby mode minimize climat\
    e impact.
    •  Restrictions on chlorinated and brominated flame retardants, plasticizer\
    s, plastics and 
    heavy metals such as cadmium, mercury and lead (RoHS compliance).
    •  Both product and product packaging is prepared for recycling.

    Cautions and Warnings
    1. Read these instructions completely before using the equipment.
    2.  Keep these instructions in a safe place.
    3.  Heed all warnings and follow all instructions.
    4.  Sit at least 18” / 45cm from the LCD display.
    5.  Always handle the LCD display with care when moving it.
    6.  Never remove the rear cover. This LCD display contains high-voltage part\
    s. You 
    may be seriously injured if you touch them.
    7.  Do not use this equipment near water. Warning: To reduce the risk of fir\
    e or 
    electric shock, do not expose this apparatus to rain or moisture.
    8.  Avoid exposing the LCD display to direct sunlight or another heat source\
    . Orient 
    the LCD display away from direct sunlight to reduce glare.
    9.  Clean with a soft, dry cloth. If further cleaning is required, see “C\
    leaning the 
    Display” in this guide for further instructions.
    10.  Avoid touching the screen. Skin oils are difficult to remove.
    11.  Do not rub or apply pressure to the LCD panel, as it may permanently dam\
    age 
    the screen.
    12.  Do not block any ventilation openings. Install the equipment in accordan\
    ce with 
    the manufacturer’s instructions.
    13.  Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, \
    stoves, or 
    other devices (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
    14.  Place the LCD display in a well ventilated area. Do not place anything o\
    n the 
    LCD display that prevents heat dissipation.
    15.  Do not place heavy objects on the LCD display, video cable, or power cor\
    d.
    16.  If smoke, an abnormal noise, or a strange odor is present, immediately s\
    witch 
    the LCD display off and call your dealer or ViewSonic. It is dangerous t\
    o continue 
    using the LCD display.
    17.  Do not attempt to circumvent the safety provisions of the polarized or g\
    rounding-
    type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other\
    . A 
    grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide\
     blade 
    and the third prong are provided for your safety. If the plug does not f\
    it into your 
    outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the outlet.
    18.  Protect the power cord from being tread upon or pinched, particularly at\
     the plug, 
    and the point where if emerges from the equipment. Be sure that the powe\
    r outlet 
    is located near the equipment so that it is easily accessible.
    19.  Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.

    Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by  
    the manufacturer, or sold with the equipment. When a cart is used,  
    use caution when moving the cart/equipment combination to avoid 
    injury from tipping over.

    22.  Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Service is required \

    unit has been damaged in any way, such as: if the power-supply cord or p\
    lug is 
    damaged, if liquid is spilled onto or objects fall into the unit, if the\
