ViewSonicVX1945wm 9 Using the LCD Display Setting the Timing Mode Setting the timing mode is important for maximizing the quality of the screen image and minimizing eye strain. The timing mode consists of the resolution (example 1440 x 900) and refresh rate (or vertical frequency; example 60 Hz). Enabling this setting allows the LCD display to more accurately display colors the way they were originally intended. If you enable the Resolution Notice shown above and your computer is set at a resolution other than 1440 x 900, the following screen appears. OSD Position allows the user to move the OSD menus and control screens. OSD Timeout sets the length of time the OSD screen is displayed.
