24 Utilizing the password function For security purposes and to help prevent unauthorized use, the projector includes an option for setting up password security. The password can be set through the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu. For details of the OSD menu operation, please refer to Using the menus on page 23. 25 Entering the password recall procedure 1. Press and hold Auto Sync on the remote control for 3 seconds. The projector will display a coded number on the screen. 2. Write down the number and turn off your projector. 3. Seek help from the local service center to decode the number. You may be required to provide proof of purchase documentation to verify that you are an authorized user of the projector. 26 Switching input signal The projector can be connected to multiple devices at the same time. However, it can only display one full screen at a time. Be sure the Quick Auto Search function in the SOURCE menu is On if you want the projector to automatically search for the signals. You can also manually select the desired signal by pressing one of the source selection keys on the remote control, or cycle through the available input signals. 1. Press Source.
