    • If  you d elete  the  title in DVD+R W, deleted  title will  be d isplayed  as “Empty” .
    • You  cannot  overwrite  on the “Em pty”
    • For DVD+R W, if “Em pty”  appears  right next to  the  other “Em pty”,  those “Em pty”  combines  into one.

    After the disc is fully recorded:
    DVD-RW/DVD+RW DVD-R/DVD+R
    •  When a title is deleted from 
    DVD-RW in VR mode, the 
    recordable disc space will 
    be increased.  •  When the last title is deleted from 
    DVD-RW in video mode or DVD+RW, the 
    recordable space will be increased. •  When a title is deleted from 
    DVD-R and DVD+R, the 
    recordable space will NOT be 
    increased.

    Once  all editings  are made, press  [RETURN] several times to exit  the editing  mode. “Writing  to Disc” appears 
    momentarily.  I t also  appears  when pressing  [AOPEN/CLOSE]  or [I/y ON/STANDBY]  before exiting  the editing

    DELETING TITLES
    You can d elete  titles which  you do not  need  anymore.
    Please  be advised  that the titles  once d eleted  cannot  be 
    brought  back to the d isc.
    Be  sure  to read “Notes  for deleting  titles” on page 71 before 
    you d elete the title.

     Press [DVD].
    In stop mode, press [TOP MENU].
    Title l ist, original  or playlist  will appear.
    • For V R mode DVD-RW, press  [DISC MENU] to 
    switch  between “ Original” and “Playlist”.

     Use [K / L/ s  / B] to select a desired 
    title, then press [ENTER].

    Adding Titles to a Playlist
    Playlist
    For V R mode DVD-RW,  you can create  the playlist  as you 
    wish.
    You  can add  up to 99 titles  to a playlist  (as long  as 
    the  total  number  of the playlist d oes not exceed 999 
    chapters).

      Follow the step 1 in “DELETING 
    TITLES” on page 72 to display the 
    original.

     Use [K / L/ s  / B] to select the 
    desired title, then press [ENTER].

     Use [K / L] to select “Add To  Playlist”, then press [ENTER].

    cha pters  or more, “Add to  Playlist” cannot be 
    selected.

    and playlist
     +VR  mode DVD  :   254 chapters p er disc, 99 chapters 
    per  title
    •  Besides  the above-mentioned,  it is  not l ikely  to be 
    able  to add  according  to recorded  time and number 
    of  chapters.

    related  to the  original  will be d eleted.
    • You  cannot  select “Scene D elete” if the  number  of 
    chapter  marks in the  original  or playlist  is more  than 
    999.  (Depends  on the  content,  there is a case  that 
    you  cannot  select “Scene D elete” before  the number 
    of  chapter  marks reaches 999.)
    • The  recordable d isc space  will not increase  even after 
    deleting  a part  of a title  on the playlist.
