Using the remote control unit 
Using the remote control, you can operate not only all the functions of \
the unit but also basic functions of your TV and  
amplifier/receiver. 
The battery compartment is located on the back of the  
remote control unit.

picture is displayed for a long time. To prevent this, the unit  
automatically activates the screen saver function if a static 
picture, such as an on-screen display or menu, is displayed

Resuming playback 
The unit can memorizes the position on a disc where you interrupt playba\
ck, and resume playback from that position  
later.
There are two resume modes (DISC RESUME and ON) you can set on the pre\
ference display. See page 52 for details
