The TASCAM DV-D6500 is a 2U rack-mountable single disc player with a powered loading tray.
The DVD player can read content from standard DVD and CD media, as well as CD-R, CD-RW, and
DVD-R media. The DV-D6500 does “not” read DVD+ media
.
The DV-D6500 offers video outputs in Composite, S-Video, and Component formats and it is capable
of producing true-line progressive-scan and interlaced-imaging (selectable via rear panel and/or
remote). The player offers image enhancements which include processing for gamma, brightness,
contrast, saturation, tint, sharpness and Y-delay; all stored as user presets.
Stereo rear panel outputs are unbalanced (RCA) with optical and coax digital outputs. Digital outputs
can pass Dolby Digital and DTS surround streams for later decoding.
Remote control is executed via RC-6500J or RS-232 (DB9 connector).
