DA-20mkII
The DA-20mkII is an affordable DA T recorder bringingthe best of the DAT format to the home studio , projectstudio or budget minded professional.  Digital I/O isprovided on coaxial SPDIF connectors, with the abilit yto override SCMS code.  Analog I/O is pro vided on RCAconnectors.  The machine can record and pla y back 44.1kHz and 48kHz tapes, as well as the long pla y 32kHz/12 bit format.  Professional features like a margin counter and headphone output with lev el control are available on the front panel.  The RC -D20 wireless remote is included.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW
DAT audio industry since the introduction of the format.  DA T is the only true non-compressed digital audio format that was intended to be a target writing media from day one.  The simple flexibilit y and worry-free operation of DA T recorders contributed to the initial rise of the format, and continues to support it in all lev els of recording.
The DAT sample r ates can be used, r anging from the long pla y 32kHz, to the CD standard 44.1kHz, to 48kHz for higher qualit y.  Plus, the DA T tapes are reasonably inexpensiv e and offer up to 2 hours (4 hours in LP mode) of uninterrupted audio.
TA SCAM is theDA -20mkII continues the proud tr adition of excellence in studio and production DA T recorders, offering a solid DA T recorder at an affordable price point.
Studios (Any Level)
Themarkets and applications.  The DA -20mkIIs SCMS free operation makesit an excellent 2nd DA T for in-studio duplication.  Also , with its affordableprice point, many personal studios are using the DA -20mkII to assembleCD tracks on the DA T, then tr ansfer directly across to a CD-R ecorder likethe CD-RW2000.
Live Recordings - One Man Show
Many DAT format often presents significant adv antages over its CD recordingbrethren.  A 2 hour recording or pla yback capacity offers extendedhands-free oper ation, allowing an entire set to be put on one uninterrupted DA T tape.
Alsoone song in the line-up is as simple as recording o ver the previous tr ack.Essentially, the DAT format combines the simplicit y of a cassette with theadvanced sound qualit y of the CD.  This makes for one less thing to worry about at show time.
